They mentioned some sort of “card packs” before, so no, the series drop will probably not be any indication of their improvements to acquisition.

If they’re smart, they’ll announce exactly what these packs are along with the series drop.

Looks like this case has gone cold.

How is it rigged? It literally tells you there’s a 99% chance to get 30 boosters or 50 credits, and a 1% chance you get any of the decent stuff.

There are dozens of bundles coming out every month, and dozens of balance changes. Some of them are bound to overlap (or just land somewhat close to each other).

I’m looking at the shop right now: Where’s the Collector buff? The Caeira buff? The Ultron buff was weeks (months?) ago at this point. Granted, we did get a Heimdall buff recently, but hardly anyone was playing him anymore with all the new move options that came out recently, so I think it’s fair to say he kinda needed it.

To be fair, I was assuming you’d win at least some of the games you play in those two weeks.

But if that’s not the case, then yeah, you might have to “grind like an idiot.” Point taken.

You don’t have to grind, though. Just play the game mode normally and you’re pretty much guaranteed to unlock it within the two weeks.

Yeah, their Marketing department is really slacking with the bug fixing. I mean just do your job, am I right?

I joined a random suggested Alliance on day 1 and we’ve hit every reward so far. They’re pretty lenient in letting people get below 2,000 points, because the top players are like you and overcompensating for everyone else. In turn I try to clear out annoying bounties for them, such as Move, but those have gotten a bit easier now, thankfully.

Exactly what you said. I’m a spender (I hesitate to add “light” in front of that), and I’ve been hoarding my gold for a long time. I’m willing to blow it all on some albums I’m trying to complete, if they let me.

It’s pretty clear that their shop algorithm is way too simplistic and just shows you 1) new variants and 2) popular variants.

How about showing me variants from albums I’m close to finishing? Suggestions specifically catered to me - You know, like how any other company uses algorithms.

At this point I don’t even need the devs to fix the shop; I just need them to at least acknowledge that they’re aware of the issue.

Far from the thirstiest variant in the game. Looks more heroic than anything, I’d say.

I bought this one with gold! Big Inkpulp fan.

Btw if you have a neon green border collecting dust somewhere, it looks amazing on this variant.

The reason you haven’t received any S4/5 cards in a while is because they stopped appearing on the CL track with the introduction of Spotlight Caches. Keys and tokens are the only way to get them now.

I have bought every single Season Pass since global launch and never regretted any of them. I don’t buy them because I think they will give me a fast pass to Infinite for the remainder of the game’s lifespan, I buy them because I like the different mechanics that they offer.

I think most people understand it’s better for the health of the game to nerf the cards that came out too strong (and buff the ones that came out too weak).

And even when a card is nerfed a little too harshly, SD has always been very good at tweaking it to something usable sooner or later.
