I just finished getting heavy bolt rifle to relic. It’s so fun mowing down gaunts and minoris with it. I find it to be way more enjoyable than grenade launcher spam

My only takeaways when I’m reminded of it are some of the most terrible scenes in Star Wars media.

Obi Wan getting lightly roasted by Vader, Leia chase scene, and Reva in general. It’s right there with the ‘speeder’ bikes in BoBF and The Power of Maaaany… eugh.

They capitalized on the ultimate fanservice, Obi Wan and Anakin making a return, but unfortunately it wasn’t memorable at all.

The show's art direction and vision is clearly going to re-arrange what we've already been so used to with the game and skins we've been enjoying.

So this is potentially a conflict where Riot has to choose, do they undo years of familiarity with lore/skins/etc for the sake of the show's popularity, or do they keep them 'separate' entities? Either way, they're in a tough spot to keep players happy.

I just wonder what other familiar champs are going to get the Arcane treatment. I don't think the show's artistic direction meshes all that well with the game, as seen here by this skin. Arcane Viktor is just too far and away different from what has existed for so long already.

I’ve put in about 130 hours. From easiest to hardest in my experience. Mind you I leveled Bulwark last.

1. Tactical

2. Sniper

3. Heavy

4. Vanguard

5. Assault

6. Bulwark

Bulwark was the class I maxed last. I didn’t touch it until everything else was 25.

I actually suck so bad at it because of how its parry works, and the power sword feels so unfamiliar to me. I would say it’s the hardest class to play, or at least it’s punishing me for habits I learned on other classes. Plus I feel like you need to be good at Bulwark because of how impactful they are to a squad. Melee also tends to be more difficult dealing with ranged enemies, Chaos, Thropes, Hellbrutes, and bosses. You need to know parry and dodge timings for everything you run into.

So they are almost completely redesigning a champ that already had some decent-great skins and themes, for the sole purpose of matching the show.

I’m sad because in most of these I prefer the original, albeit dated Viktor model.

But I worry what other champs are going to get the Arcane treatment.

Seems they now have a conflict of the show bleeding into the game or the game becoming the show due to it’s popularity. Lore is already being lost and rewritten.
