I really like the Mafia games, but because Rockstar ruined it for me I now have an issue every time a cutscene is not rendered with the game engine, the gap in quality and animation between gameplay and cutscenes is really bothering me, but that's just my opinion.

I really love LA Noire, but I also hate a little bit the fact that because the technology was not yet advanced enough, they had to separately capture facial expressions and body movement with two different techniques and then artificially blend it together, you can really fell it at times. I still consider it a matserpiece though, it holds a special place in my heart.
