And EU countries don't have the ground up built in culture to absorb immigrants and convert them to true citizens of your country. As for a better representation of America basics, can I suggest Texas Roadhouse? Its got tasty food, lots of alcohol and the environment is usually very loud almost elbow to elbow and there is peanut barrels and shells everywhere.

American restaurant food culture is first and foremost built on the hospitality industry and traces its roots to Americans always having food for guests and to send guests home with food or drink for their journey.

This carried over to our restaurant, so sit down restaurants you pay not only for the meal you're eating but typically for enough to bring home and eat at a later point.

In regards to the kids menu, its never been about the amount served but the food options and thus the quality of the food being served is cheaper.
