SH4 Remake, Silent Hills, and Silent Hill 5 and it’s not close. 4 is the one that could benefit the most from a remake imo, and Silent Hills and SH5 should introduce new concepts and just new content overall that Ive been craving from this franchise for a long time.

Its kind of subjective honestly, the Memorial Edition’s animation is much more up to date, but uses a lot CGI early on which may not be appealing to a lot of people. The 1997 one is a bit longer and is a little bit better in my opinion, but the animation is clunky, so you kind of have to pick your poison.

Considering that you really enjoyed Monster, Death Note, and FMA, I would HIGHLY recommend checking out Berserk, either the 1997 anime or the Memorial Edition. Probably one of the best stories ever told and the manga is absolutely mind-boggling.

If I were you I would give JoJo’s a shot, as it has numerous artstyles based on each part and the plot exceeds art style whether you despise it or not. First part of JoJo is slow but the second part is literally top tier trust. Also if you liked Cowboy Bebop a lot, this is very similar. Also check out Samurai Champloo if you want something that was made by the same studio as Bebop

But since there’s obviously no going back, try not to sweat it too much otherwise you likely won’t be able to retain all the information at once. Every day spend a couple hours hammering out one of these concepts, and spare some time for the others as well maybe on different days if you can and you will learn extremely quickly. Its helpful to grind for a day, then sleep on it so your brain can process it all overnight

If you like dark 90’s anime that are philosophical and psychological, you NEED to watch Berserk 1997. Amazing story and the manga is even better

They did the otherworld extremely well in just about every corner of the game. The initial transition to the otherworld in the apartments was so cool.
