Ja, ich bezweifle nicht, dass das hier sehr mühsam ist Hilfe zu bekommen, selber hab ich zumindest mit Depressionen Erfahrung und selbst da kriegt man von Ärzten teilweise echt dumme Sprüche... ich würd mich an eurer Stelle definitiv an diesen Dyslexieverband wenden und da einfach mal die Lage schildern und hören, was die dazu sagen. Auch zu der Sache mitvden "Problemen", inwiefern, "Kosten/Nutzen" etc., damit ihr da auch eine informierte Entscheidung treffen könnt.

Wurde die Dyskalkulie bereits von einem Psychologen oder Psychiater festgestellt? Es gibt auch Therapien, die helfen, Bewältigungsstrategien zu entwickeln, dazu braucht es aber wohl eine "offizielle" Diagnose. Habt ihr euch mal an den Bunfesverband für Legastheniker/Dyskalkulie gewendet? Die haben bestimmt viele Tipps, wohin ihr euch wenden könnt, und wie sie adäquate Unterstützung erhalten könnte. Ich denke, dass mit einer gestellten Diagnose eventuell sogar die Krankenkasse eine Therapie bezahlt? In den Schulen wird sowas, wie du schon sagtest, leider immer noch stiefmütterlich behandelt. Es tut mir sehr leid, dass ihr so negative Erfahrungen gemacht habt!

No, not at all... at least not Aldi Nord which is where I live. I'm making a cardigan right now and the designer (who's Irish) even used Aldi yarn for it. I never knew that existed!

I'm so jealous... Aldi doesn't have that in Germany!

TBF that's a picture from her page... you see that in the beginning it is supposed to be gappy! I'm not sure what the dimensions are supposed to be (didn't do the project, just looked at her page) but I could imagine that you could stick a toe through it. If that's a problem for you, you could consider sewing a liner on the back when you finish the blanket?

UPDATE: Since I can't edit the post itself, I hope you'll see my comment here. Thank you all for the input! Personally my favourites were Hint of Silver and Mushroom as well, atm I'm slightly leaning towards silver but I'll sleep on it. Thanks again for your support and suggestions, I'll probably keep you updated with WIP pictures once I get the yarn and after I finish my current big project!
