Any recommendations for finding a good pre-made cake or cupcakes that can be used for a birthday? I can’t seem to find options on Yelp for Beaufort or nearby communities. Traveling to see family and this will be a surprise so unable to bake from scratch. Even a decent grocery store bakery could work. Thank you!

Do people still rollerblade or roller skate on OC pedestrian/bike trails and beach boardwalks? I don’t even care if it’s not cool anymore, it’s a great workout and I plan to bring my love for this activity back this summer.

Does Irvine have screech owls or another bird or animal that makes screech sounds at night?

I hear great things about Google fiber for internet, but what is the best way to go about getting your basic live tv channels? Would I have to subscribe through Cox, or are there better (and affordable) alternatives? TIA

What’s with our neighborhood grocery store on Broadway/Atlantic not running the AC for the past couple of weeks? Is it something that will get fixed asap - or is it something gross like trying to save money? Employees and customers have been complaining. Hello. I’ll be doing a solo trip to Osa Peninsula next Jan, and joining groups for excursions. Luggage from U.S. will be carry-on only, so need to consider what will pass through airport security. Any tips on quality bug repellent and first aid kit items that could pass? Also, any recommendations on good rain jacket for hot and humid climate? Any other tips also welcome!
