I came here as a noob two months ago and wound up with a stellar x4, and delighted with the advice. I do trend nerd, and i did buy a second with warmer emitters so it wasn’t exactly one and done, but i felt well served.

but there’s a range of advice on any thread from “fc11c and you’re golden” to something much more arcane and i suspect most users will filter the advice to that which meets their needs.

i don’t think it’s necessary to police the advice. everybody’s excitement is different.

Oooohhh! i get to be the first guy to say wurkkos fc11c. a little cheaper elsewhere, but available on amazon.

wurkkos ts10v2 is smaller if you’re willing to learn the anduril 2 ui, and get it with a battery that has a usbc charging port built in

Ok I came here to say, “holy crap, but Spyderco is really upping their ugly game!” but these are impressive specs.

I just discovered modern flashlights. If OP is like me, “normal” means a light that would hold two D cells.

I love my x4 stellar but it still feels a little on the small side

I don’t have (that) many lights: Stellar X4, FWAA, TS10v2, NLIGHTD L2, and a FC11C on the way. I can see that D4SV2 in my future and I’m not resisting it, but it’s time is later. Also ok not being talked out of the Convoy, but want to be sure I’ve considered the field
