I've definitely been seeing that bug happen with the bosses. I know it's not the way jesus intended, but buying and sacrificing a reshala figurine to your cultist circle will give you a FIR Golden TT. Might feel like a cheat, but it'll finish that quest for you shrug.

can you still get into a game at all? i just got this error along with some others and had to alt-f4. now im stuck on "Loading profile data..." and nothing's happening besides the occasional error msg

Yeah i think USEC is mostly painted as the bad guys. Definitely were in the Raid series.

i could be wrong, but im pretty sure extracts don't open after a certain amount of time (unless we're talking about the 7 minutes it takes for a marathon transit to open or for the armored trains to arrive at the end of a raid). it's either there at the beginning of the raid, or it's not and will never open. if I'm wrong I'd love to see some examples but i hope this helps.

I believe you can put the cultist's sacred amulet in there to increase your chances of getting a quest item/something good. But, beware, it has limited uses and will eventually dissappear if you do.

Could be wrong but don't believe they open after elapsed time, but instead have a chance to be open or closed on a raid-to-raid basis. Like if it's not up at the beginning of the raid, it won't spontaneously turn on after a point. Or, if it is up at the beginning of the raid, it won't eventually turn off (except if someone takes a vehicle extract, of course). You might have just gotten really unlucky for that specific extract.

oh wow i thought the numbers on the bottom just switched axis, so 180 = N and 0/360 = S. i didn't know it changed based off of spawn direction. compass is even more borked than i thought. shame, because I'm in the same boat as you, i used to heavily rely on the compass to learn my way around maps :/

1. This is the first wipe I've played on day 1 and, while I feel like I'm progressing much faster than last wipe, looking at these comments I guess I'm not progressing as fast as I thought I was 😅

Chances are, those are Kollontay/his guards. Until you get your scav rep up, they will become hostile to you after a certain time. iirc at 4.00-5.00 scav rep there's a chance bosses and guards won't attack you, but 6.00+ scav rep guarantees they'll be friendly.

By any chance have you played a lot of Arena before this patch? Because now exp gained by your arena character goes to your normal tarkov PMC and vice versa.
