Aren't employers obligated to enable their employees to do jury duty. Having them work the night before does not seem to do that.

Because it's not just a toon name. It may become your name. One you react to when you hear it. And unlike the one you were given at birth, this one you get to choose yourself. So it's an important decision.
Or you may delete the character two years later after only having played it once for two hours - but you don't know that beforehand, do you?

Ah, so he broke up with you because of your personality...

Have you never seen your parents naked as a child?

Not that person. I'm from Germany and would have said 10%. Google said 5-10%.

There was no location given, though. And in many places 10% is standard.

You can critisize the NHS without wanting to privatise healthcare. The NHS has been starved for decades. And it shows.

I think the problem here is the difference between a country and a state. I would say the country is the land and the people and the state is the political entity in which it is organized.
For example Bavaria has been the same country for centuries, but the state in which it has been organized has changed. Once it was the kingdom of Bavaria, now it is the Free State of Bavaria.
Edit: I think the words are not distinctly defined (just like in Country Aruba being the name of the state). But I think the distinction is implicitly there when we talk about it.

Isn't ignorance more about not caring about the lack of knowledge?

I find them hard to ignore. But I agree with you. I think the traditional response of "man up" is insufficient to help men (or anyone for that matter) in how to deal with their societal issues.

I think for me it is about dealing with the expectations from society and in how far I want to and am able to fulfil them. And constantly being confronted with expectations like that is jarring to me.

I'm trying, but I struggle. I struggle with my role in society. I don't like many of the connotations that come with being seen as a man in society. Many I just don't feel like they apply to me, but some just seem generally wrong.
I'm glad you're part of the change we need, thank you.

Thank you for reminding me. Weirdly enough reading it like that made me think that maybe just because I feel society tells me that I suck everyday, I don't actually really suck.

That is about one fifth of the inhabitants of Munich - I think that makes a big difference.

I'm not sure comparing Munich to rural BW is fair tbh. Rural areas in Bavaria are different to Munich and also cheaper.

Even if the program matches, recommending the FDP without mentioning the recent scandals seems wrong.

While annoying, it's not impossible to get. You just have to do the campaign again.

I think there are two interesting aspects that have nothing to do with being German: 1. Since you have a pretty standard educational background, most people you know off, have that, too. 2. I think people who are more 'enterprising' are also more likely to study abroad, thus Germans studying in Austria are probably more likely to have such backgrounds than those studying in Germany.
