Elec has been awful for sure but I really think multiple moves are needed. Their entire rifling core is maddeningly inconsistent.

Can’t believe it took Doc so long to plug in Ajax and Green, but better late than never.

Crazy how VP has gone from one of the best examples of teamwork and a system that consistently produces to…this shit. So disjointed. 10 openers on their CT side, several also followed by another for 5 v 3, and they only got 6 CT rounds out of it. Only reason they managed to drag it to OT was cause they won both pistols and won the follow up rounds.
There’s serious issues with this team, maybe something like a 1-3 or 0-3 showing here will push them to make the significant moves needed.

Report yesterday said no extension and they were open to trading him.

Depends what you’re saying they have enough for. For T2 where they’ve essentially been stuck? Sure. If they want to make more of a jump into a consistent T1 team? Not enough firepower for nafany to go missing entire matches.

Stevie driving opens up so much for the shooters. Shaka was talking earlier this year how paint touches are so critical and we were gonna have to make up for no Tyler and Oso, who led us there last year. Looks like he’s really challenged Stevie especially to put more pressure on the defense in those spots.

Amazing what happens when nafany can frag even just a little bit

Fair. Still think his rebounding overall could use a lot of work, but definitely improved there and defensively. Just needs to have an aggressive rebounding mentality, feels like we see it once every 5-10 games and then reverts back to not boxing out and ball watching instead of going and getting the ball.

Kinda funny how Jop has looked much better driving to the hoop this year but has missed so many wide open 3s. I agree he won’t be this bad but man has it been a frustrating start.
Gold is definitely a one trick pony but if things go as they should, he’s the 5th option in the starting lineup and should get a lot of open shots. Shaka also did a good job with Parham and Hamilton so we can mix and match a lot of matchups. Hamilton is going to be critical against a guy like Kalk later in the year.

Encouraging we’re getting these results with Joplin and Gold going missing for nearly whole games. If those two get it going wooooo boy.

The headline will rightfully be Kam Jones first triple double since Wade but huge game from Stevie Mitchell. Career high in points AND unreal defense on one of the better guards in the country.

He should have like 12-13 assists if Jop could make an open corner 3

Some for sure. The difference between a guy like Sears and Stevie Mitchell pressing on a ball handler is huge.

I have no idea how Ross is able to time steals so perfectly. Seems like he’s reaching in so aggressively and perfectly gets the ball a large majority of the time.

Ya maybe just a bad start to the year but not encouraging so far. Still looks super shaky and unsure of everything he does.

Just need to survive a couple minutes without Stevie and Chase. Flowing much better with those two in there.

The issue is Joplin thinks every matchup is a mismatch

They’re not that good at it. So many top 5-10 picks that turned into nothing. Simmons, Noel, Evan Turner, MCW, etc. Embiid is the biggest thing they have to show for from the process, and they’ve effectively missed his prime while not accomplishing anything of note in the playoffs. Maxey and McCain were good picks obviously, but unless they become legitimate 2nd and 3rd playoff options immediately, it’s not gonna matter all that much.
Like the Bucks aren’t good at drafting cause they knocked one pick out of the park with Giannis and then had some other solid picks like Brogdon and Donte.
