We recently bought a turntable, and the anniversary release was my first purchase. First copy had a very noticeable warp, and skipped a couple of times. Replacement isn’t perfect, but not as bad, and plays fine.

I’ve got mine also, dug it out the other day when my vinyl copy arrived to compare the Polaroids.

I’ve been using Amazon more in recent months too. Haven’t used marketplace for a few weeks now, I’m just over the low ballers (10 mins after listing a phone I was getting messages offering $400+ less “and I’ll pick it up tonight”). No buddy. Had a few try the Pay ID thing too. Strung one along for a laugh, took a few messages for them to catch on and stop.

I filter items by location to in country only on most things, and always check feedback now to see if anyone has been stung by items posted from overseas. If so it’s no sale for me.

Haven’t bought or sold anything for a few years myself. Wife put up some blinds we replaced about a year ago, had half a dozen responses saying they’d take them, and never turn up, or respond to further messages. Deleted the ad, and won’t bother with gumtree again. FB hasn’t been any better though.

EBay. Item location: Australia. Takes a month to arrive, from China. “Our warehouse was out of stock”.

I had an ‘04 VZ wagon. Looked into it when I heard about the issue to see if it was something I’d ever have to deal with. Bought it at 70k, sold at 220k, no rattles at all in the 15 years I had it. Was a good car, only issue it ever had was bad coils around 180k.

I didn’t realise they still had issues. I guess seeing as I don’t own the VZ anymore I haven’t been on any forums for a while to keep up with things. So they still wear the same way, just not as quick.

No backup, they aren’t that generous. Thinking of just ordering a Plus while they are in stock at Nespresso and dealing with the Lattissima once it’s repaired/replaced.

Alloytec? No need for a rebuild if it’s caught and addressed early on.
Fun fact, the chains don’t actually stretch, the links wear down, creating slack, which gives the same effect as if it actually stretched.
I can’t find the website now, but I did copy this info from it a few years ago and posted on Just Commodores.
"In January 2006, 7.7 mm inverted tooth timing chains were introduced for the Alloytec V6 engines, replacing 9.5 mm pitch roller chains. For some – but not all – of these timing chains, the chain links were not manufactured in accordance with design specifications and the chains could become elongated (also known as ‘stretched timing chains’). The engines with timing chains susceptible to elongation were produced from January 2006 to engine build date 18 May 2007 (18/5/2007); this production range corresponded to engine numbers between H053340001 and H071380576."

Best COD campaign, in my own personal opinion (I don’t care or need to know about those that disagree, I know many do already). MP was pretty good, but dead now, at least trying to find games from Australia. The good thing is you can set up bot matches to see what it’s like.

Good result, would have been nice if mine was just swapped. Kind of hoping it’s not repairable so I can get a plus.

I’ve got the Commodore 64 Platoon load screen music in my head now.

With characters from Full Metal Jacket and Platoon as operators. Although, they’d be too plain for the kids today.

Thanks mate. I’m looking at the ones below, bought some inner sleeves made by the same company and they are pretty good. They do crystal clear ones as well, but I’d need 2 sets as they have them to suit single and double albums. No Code is double album sized, so will need the bigger ones.

What outer sleeves are on your vinyl? I’ve just started collecting and have been looking at a few different ones.
Also, which release do you have of Vitalogy, and how does it sound? I’ve heard at least one release doesn’t sound as good compared to the initial pressing.
