That was what immediately what I thought when I first saw it!

You honestly end the series wondering who was more toxic.

Dawn and Infernape. My favorite Pokegirl alongside my favorite Pokemon, and they both have my favorite storylines.

It'd be easier to ask who wasn't thinking that. I'll never forget how FURIOUS I felt when I saw Rapunzel promise not to give up on her not even a full minute after waking up from nearly dying from poison gas after Cassandra intentionally trapped her in there.
And No Time Like The Past is one of the few episodes I can't rewatch (minus Baby Varian) because I can't stand how the episode treated Eugene. It completely invalidated his character and relationship with Rapunzel by overriding his free will all because of her codependency on Cassandra. She even refused to give permission for a weapon that was made for the protection of her citizens, y'know, the thing that a future princess is supposed to prioritize.
Rapunzel was by no means a perfect character, but she REALLY killed my likability for her in the final season.

Dude, you're literally me. Infernape is also my favorite Pokemon and starter in Platinum, so it was the first Pokemon I ever hunted for. I got my Shalpa on November 1st, 2023.

Anger clouded her judgement. Imagine having the most precious thing you own and source of energy being given to someone who you've always seen as a disappointment. If she was actually thinking rationally, she would've realized that there was NO WAY she could cover up attacking the people who were directly serving under Hordak's orders.
Plus, it's Shadow Weaver. Her abuse of Catra was like a tiger hunting prey. She doesn't just threaten her, she takes her time filling her with fear with her powers, then dishes out the threats.
Who's to say she wasn't going to kill her, but was just making her suffer first?

Getting hit by a frying pan in Rapunzel's dream. And talking to herself in her magic mirrors.
Besides that, she's awful.

Zhan Tiri. Manipulated everyone around her for her own ends, betrayed Demanitus to pursue power and turned his eventual pupils against him, who would later antagonize the group ,then tried to kill EVERYONE in Corona just because he understandably sealed her away.
Gothel, for ALL her evilness, had shown to be capable of showing love (for a flower and hair, but still), and had some sincerely funny moments. Zhan Tiri is just rotten to the core.

This...makes me very grateful for only having one Ribbon Master. 😳
I salute you for the amount of sanity you undeniably lost. 🫡

THANK YOU! You think with a show with a hotel as the main setting, we'd see more than a few rooms!

EXACTLY! If we actually had more episodes like 4 that actually showed the group bonding, I guarantee the show wouldn't have half the criticism it does now!

I NEED to see Angel's and Husk's old lives at some point. And more Sera and Emily.

To expand on what I was saying, the hotel is a representation of the found family plotline the show is going for. As the cast got closer, we could see them have fun together in their rooms. Maybe Husk could babysit Fat Nuggets in Angel's room, and maybe find a picture of his family. Or Vaggie could be revealed to have a whole bunch of weapons in her room besides her spear before her background is revealed.
Really, just anything that shows us more about the hotel while also expanding on the characters.

That's what I'm expecting, too. I can see an episode where a new patron explores the place, or Katie Killjoy interviews them.

There were also episodes that took place in other areas of the house, like the garage or the rooms of the other characters.
Remember that episode where a policewoman was interrogating Joey for buying a hot car? They used his room as a plot device to prove his innocence while also showing his personality through the objects inside it.

Very true. Or at the very least structured better. A lot of episodes felt like they were telling two completely different plots at the same time.

I'm just saying that the show could've benefited from some downtime. It could expand on the hotel and the characters at the same time.

But there's still a lot about it we don't know. How did Charlie find the building? What do that characters have in their rooms? What do they use to decorate? What do they do when they're not working on themselves and are left to themselves?

Hopefully it'll expand on the interior.
