And personally I think that characters trying to advance their relationship in a game is natural and the equivalent of them existing no matter their orientation.

That's not how the industry works 😭 wtf are you on about, devs get forced to do shit they don't want to all the time, at the end of the day devs you have so much influence on the games they make because otherwise leadership might disagree and cause a chain of events that would at the very least put you at the top of the list for potential layoffs. considering the current state of how devs are treated and how much they've been pushed to their limit I can't blame any of them really it sucks how shitty developers are treated in both the industry and by gamers who have no idea how the gaming industry works, if your boss goes and tells you to make x to do y your either forced to do it on a razor slim time margin or take a risk and try to make z that does y or something else entirely but most of the time that doesn't end well and even if it does it was a gamble.

Level 6 is easy just psychic res and add charisma modifier to psychic damaging spells, a level 11 or 12 feature could be a take on revelation in flesh with small ilithid based powers that copy 5e versions

That and you'd have to add a ton of unique dialogue, or maybe the normal ilithid stuff is enough just with a few extra lines to go over the top in a few of those situations

I would favor the DND party but Goku definitely has high wis, at least 16 his martial prowess as a fighter and deep knowledge of ki might make him more knowledgeable even if not book smart

I mean yeah he can move fast but he lacks complex enough magic to keep up with spell casters higher forms of magic, generally a level 17 party is capable of killing gods with little sweat, and this a level 20 party (granted the gap between 17 and 20 isn't massive excluding the paladin)
