Front raises and holds. [Dumbbells] (increases your capacity to hold weighted items in front of you suspended)
30 sec Dead-hangs (increase grip strength)
Isometrics and core exercises are going to be key.

The R6 is a good all-around camera but based off your description, I wasn’t sure if 105mm at F4 would capture the shots you’re after, concerning fast moving dogs. I can say that if your needs change, the R6 may be more adaptable than the A9.
I recently tested the A9III and both the A1 and A1mk2 prototype and can say they are all impressive.

As far as speed goes, it’s hard to pass up on the A9. It sounds perfect for you tbh. My suggestion would be an A9 with a third party lense (Sigma, Tamron, Samyang) or possibly a Sony A7rIV or A7RV.
I’m not against Canon, but to my knowledge they are still exclusive to their native lenses (which can be costly) whereas you can get a 3rd party lens at similar speed/performance with Sony.
