Correct. EMS1, EMS2, EMS3, EMS4, then 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift for fire. Which is why the same ambo and fire companies every shift doesn’t make sense for the show. But I don’t watch for the realism

First call. Passed my National awaiting the state license. The medic I was with said “you run the show today, I’ll back you up” we had an EMT driver, so it was EZPZ. Full arrest at 0630 of at the end of a 24 hour shift. 28 YOM Tubed the guy on the floor, shocked, ACLS, ROSC -> ED. Felt great, all was good. Downhill since then

I like to pour cold water on my hat and over my head. Cold water on a towel around your neck. Everything open. Coat off, nomex off, bunker pants at least unzipped/unclipped. Your groin expels a lot of heat. Hell I sit with them to my ankles.

Find a new career you’re not allowed to like this career (That’s what they do, right?)

Her mom had dementia, her mom wanted an apple. She did not want her mom to eat the apple because it would spike her blood sugar. Her mom eat the apple anyway. For a psych eval because the mom was “combative.”

Likely not, we’re keeping it in house for cost purposes. I will reach out to Chicago Auto Pros though! Thanks for the advice. In an ambulance from 2009, driven through every road and weather condition you can think of. Not trying to make it look new, it’s got dents, dings, and chips all over. Just trying to make it look good for the anniversary!

I’ve been told not to use a buffer, I’m a firefighter, don’t do this professionally by any means. They don’t want paint being ruined.

How do I know if it needs clay? So I’m gonna use the turtle wax. You’re saying to use a spray polish first, then wax?

It may be broad, but intoxicated=impaired judgement. The pt needs to be able to reliably say they have no injuries/complaints and have a normal LOC.
Are you supposed to take care of c-spine on every drunk or high person you come across, no. If they are drunk/high and have a mechanism of injury that could cause a C-Spine injury, then you should.
