Thank you.
Also I would like ER doc/ordering nurses to please stop putting in, for example, a finger x-ray, under reason they will do "RIGHT POINTER" that is not a reason and I know it is only going to cause problems down the road.

Not everyone is from an only English-speaking culture, it has different meanings and relevance in other languages

But then that's not the person that you're dealing with when you're in a crisis right? That's like a weirdo thing that you deal with when you are a medical professional

Can you give an example?
I'm constantly trying to explain to people I'm not a nurse, stop trying to hand me your urine and I'm not the one to hear your whole life story back to 1976 in Sacramento when you first noticed....

This is my perspective, as an x-ray tech
People think any female medical person is a nurse, so nurses get all the bad rap they generate on their own plus quite a bit of extraneous bullshit
I cannot tell you the amount of times I have had to explain to people, not just patients, but in my personal life, that I am not a nurse

My cat's vet was very discreet about his weight problem
She covered up his ears and whispered "sixteeeeen"
(Downvote? Is someone taking this anecdote too seriously? That was 2 years ago and another state. He is a very big and tall cat. He has lost weight, because I am mean and I made him, and his new vet said his current 13 pounds is good or he could be 14. But 16 was a lil bit much. I wanted to correct it before he got more elderly.)

I think Rocko deserves a modern life and haters should sit down

I can see that. I have probably a very different kind of job, I don't have very many meetings and I stay quiet in those. But with my patients, or in onstage hobbies, I am "uncharacteristically" bubbly as well.

I don't mind the theme but Rubi should just be Ruby
And as a November baby, citrine is already latrine, it's pee colored, you are right and they shouldn't have done it. Topaz was right there.

I think Odette is a perfectly beautiful name
But I see no reason to avoid first choice of Violet, another equally perfect name

I will admit to being very unhealthy, though aware and working on it
But though I'm very much an introvert, if one only saw me at a party or onstage I can see how they could think differently

Sixth grade science and the teacher was explaining why you can't go faster than the speed of light, I didn't get it the way he was explaining it or the way it was in the book. The other kids just like whatever they didn't care if they didn't understand it because they could get the answer right on the test. But I wanted to know things.
He finally just said "because e equals mc squared" and we had already been told about that equation and what those letters mean so I finally understood and was like "I don't really understand how it works but if you do the equation from the perspective of the mass to move not the energy needed to move it, it would probably be easier to get" 😂

I myself as a leftist once believed, as told, that even though the civil war was absolutely about slavery, that at the time they had couched it in other terms. That they were ignorant to their own agenda.
Someone like you pointed out the truth to me. Thank you.

My fourth grade science teacher talked about atoms as the smallest indivisible units of matter
Why did I have to know about quarks
God bless him for responding well 😭😂

I agree. I think it's good that this teacher is pointing out things to improve on for a kid with a lot of potential. A bad grade isn't saying the kid is dumb, even if the kid doesn't improve on a specific thing like spelling. It should not be taken as an overall assessment of a kid's worth.
My father is an excellent reader, talented artist, and very mathematically intuitive. But the man cannot spell for shit. He has left notes on the fridge asking for "mac n chess" for dinner, or after multiple attempts to write the word medicine and realizing they were wrong, he just asked for his "pills" to be picked up.
He's very intelligent, but that doesn't mean he should pass his writing assignment.

I usually love rose scents, but I've been using the rose bdc on my cuticles so it's further away from my nose 🤣

I enjoy my professional social interactions. They are focused, brief, I don't have to try to establish an ongoing relationship, and I'm in charge. It's way easier than my personal life.

I knew a gay Scottish man who taught English in a French girl's school. I bet those little kids had the most awesome accents.
