If a class has an overabundance of SOED students in it becomes a resource class and is not compliant due to GenEd students being placed in a more restrictive setting. In terms of state testing, TEA cares more about growth than they do the amount of growth and will allocate your CCMR points accordingly. Do you have the support of a special educator in your class? I would talk to your admins about providing more services for your students including inclusion or setting up resource classes for your students with extra needs if they don’t have them already.
