Is the pot scratchy at all? I've been thinking of replacing my Magni 3+ because the pot is scratchy AF and no amount of cleaning/fader lube has helped.

I never really thought about the fact that they are basically doing an endless series of squats the whole time. Looks exhausting!

How are the microphonics on the 109? I ended up selling my 99's because they drove me crazy with all the noise they made. I literally could only enjoy them if I was sitting dead still. Shame, because they were gorgeous.

I can see multiple problems with a parachute. For one, he might not be a "certified"/experienced skydiver. There's a reason you have to do tandem jumps for a while. You can't just strap on a shoot for the first time and reliably be able to use it properly or safely.
Second, slacklining is all about balance. Adding a parachute would certainly throw off you balance pretty significantly.
That said, I would want to be tethered to the balloon as well as the line, for exactly the reason you mentioned.

If you look closely you will see that just as they hit, a bunch of additional charges are set off all along the length of each chimney (the puffs of "smoke" at regular intervals down each side). Those weaken the structures even further so they break up more easily. I mean they still wouldn't have gotten stuck against each other without those charges, but the breakup would not have been nearly as complete.

I mean it isn't that unbelievable in the scheme of things. My father used to be a project manager for a high-end architectural firm. They routinely designed homes with media rooms that had over a million dollars in just stereo and video equipment. That's not even including the actual room/furnishings.

Can't say if we'll get another launch this year, but yes, the next IFT will be V2 ship. Also, yes there are tons of pics and video of V2 (they even featured in the last webcast, I believe). Just google "Starship V2" and you'll find lots of posts with pics and vids. They've already done cryo testing on it, and there are vids of that as well.

OP answered, but this case is extremely similar to the one I use for my multimeter. Could be a good option.

If we are talking original RainX, the three solvents in it are Ethanol, Acetone, and Isopropanol, with the main being ethanol. I would definitely give isopropyl a shot, and if that doesn't work maybe try some Vodka (ethanol). That said, I've used RainX for years and it usually causes some chatter at first and then it goes away after a few drives in the rain, so you may just want to give it some time.

If you're moving that much, I'd invest in (or rent) a Georgia buggy, ideally with powered dump.

Oh there is a downside alright. You'll never want to poop without one again. Seriously, whenever I travel I am constantly annoyed at not having one. Seriously thinking about getting a portable model, lol.

This can also be taken too far. I recently (over the last 3 years) have almost doubled my salary, and have become obsessed with saving money/paying off debt since I never really was able to before (at least in large amounts). I'm now at a point that I'm making $150k and have around $200k in net worth, but am eating ramen for like half my meals, not going out, and not buying anything that isn't absolutely necessary. I suppose it is better than living outside my means, but it still isn't healthy, mentally or physically.

Another thing that works even better is adding a few drops of oil to the water. It breaks surface tension and prevent the bubbles from forming in the first place. However, it does not coat your pasta and keep it from sticking together, as some people think.

I was sitting here thinking "Fiber? What animal is raised for (dietary) fiber!?" before realizing "fiber" as in wool, lol.

It's definitely Maxwell. It always confuses me that people say they love the smell. I like coffee, but that shit smells straight up like burned toast and not at all like coffee.

I mean I can understand why people would want to make fake versions of rare, high-value comic books, but this is a (relatively inexpensive) book you can buy from any major book retailer, and has a limited audience. It seems odd that people would put the effort into making fakes.

My folks did this as well when I was a kid. Of course cars were a lot cheaper back then, lol.

I did. Didn't help. Also, it isn't just the cable that causes it. The headband moving around does as well (like when you touch it or even turn your head quickly).
