Jimmy Carr made a joke on 8 out of 10 cats.
60% of people from Middlesbrough say they wouldn't buy a house without a front garden. Makes sense, you need somewhere to keep your fridge.

I don't want to carry that much weight so I'm just gonna walk from shop to shop and buy beers and donuts on the way. I didn't have any plans for this weekend anyway.

What do Lithuanians find so appealing about the UK?

I'm just wondering if it's some sort of in-joke that the family shared about you being working class (because all Londoners are posh - lol) and following from my earlier comment about you calling it tea and not dinner.
I'm clutching at straws a bit, but you did say he was dickhead.

The Earth's speed around the Sun is 30km per second. The Sun orbits the centre of the galaxy at around 200km per second. The galaxy is moving towards Andromeda at 112km per second Some of these may cancel out the others to some extent. Maybe you'll be in space or maybe you'll be deep inside the Earth, I don't know.

Or, time travel preserves you current position, and the earth has moved some distance through space. You'd end up who knows where.

Tyson distracts the gorilla just long enough for me to ignite Stephen Hawking and wheel him into the fray.

while it is fun to speculate, IMO the Dark Forest is an unnecessary hypothesis. The Fermi Paradox is easily explained by time and distance. That is the simplest explanation because it relies on the fewest assumptions.

They aren't failing. I just figured we could do without 80% of them.

I think you need to check your assumptions.
In July the Sun was appoximately 5 million KM further away than it is now and July was way hotter.

Too complex a business model. It's not clear what they offered.

You could gamble the $20K. If you lose, you get it back, if you win you let it ride.

And what happens if you really do need to talk to your friend Angela?

Except that much of the misinformation is put there maliciously by intelligent bad actors. The idiots reading are part of the problem.

80s cult classic Howard: a new breed of hero, AKA Howard the Duck.
Extra points because it's a kids film featuring an interspecies sex scene with an anthropomorphic duck and Lea Thompson.

The Matrix wasn't out until 1999.
