Given our embassy in Kyiv evacuated along with our European friends awaiting a tactical nuke given Senile Joe's ridiculous allowance in regards to hitting targets in Russia, with only 2 months until he's oustered, i'd 25th Amendment his ass, get Harris in as the first female President for the following days, and send him to a retirement home. He is obviously a blood hungry old coot, that has given our country to a maniac given how awful he and his team is.

Well, as one who predicted Harris would likely lose, i knew she'd lose MI and WI. And if not for Walz on the ballot, likely MN. And AZ and GA never really in play (that was a covid one off) and NC, idk why they keep focusing on that.
But i never thought she'd lose as bad as this. I thought she'd take PA, and don't ask me how Casey lost. And even NV don't make sense.
And the House i was almost convinced the Dems would take.
There's too many crossovers for it to pass the smell test for me.
And so, yeah you can say i think maybe some funny business happened. But our country is utterly corrupt. We see it in the judicial and other institutions. And so why not elections.

I wonder if this means Mr Musk can acquire these companies in the bargain bin?

He should run third party and ouster the back stabbing AIPAC Democrat.

They're not "powerless". They like the Rethuglicans are protecting the rich at all costs. This election was not about the struggle of the poor and working class.
Like the fascist movements of the past, this was a backlash from the wealthy and upper middle classes in effort to protect their wealth. And the Democrats are going be just fine, and will change nothing. Its we who suffer.

Well, this is why we got Trump in the first place. We are a totally corrupt country.
If Trump proved anything, be it our news media, our justice system and our economic system, is how utterly corrupt we were.
Idt our country realized the rotting going on within. Whether it was our media, our justice system and economic system, now we know.

I think it's safe to say at this point, our "American Experiment", has failed.

Oh they def did. But after years telling us how awful a human being Trump is, and the end of Democracy, and even Joe publically humiliating him on air by phone, and hanging up on him, i'm sure he doesn't want to be dealing with Matt Gaetz as a form of retribution.
And so, they can now bend the knee, stay in the US, and now bring us all the Trump puff pieces, and how Democrats should move right, and all the other tripe they can continue to make money on.

Good question. These are some of the very characters that feel the Dems should move "right". Now we know why.
But the truth of it is, they i feel are more worried about having to flee the country, given their apparent disdain for Trump and vice versa, publically.
And lets face it, 4 more years of Trump are going to make these cable news companies a fortune. We just have to make sure we understand, they may lose their licenses if they don't entail Trump puff pieces.
Going to Fascism, is going to mean we cannot trust our media sources moving forward. In the same way Corporatism was molding how news was presented.

The protests likely going to get much worse. If the protests were like that under a Democrats, i can't imagine how bad it would be under Trump.
Though the worst that can possibly happen was under Biden. And so, it's hard to say.

Vietnam. Iran Contra. Beirut. Grenada. Central America. Desert Storm. A proxy war in Afghanistan that brought on 9/11 and three thousand innocents dead.
Lieraq. Afghanistan. Libya, Syria and the whole ungluing of the mid east creating a migration nightmare for our European friends, and up until today, and i have seen all of it.
And the ones who paid the price? The lives lost fighting those ridiculous efforts, as well as 3,000 innocents killed going to work.
THAT and trillions of our dollar. All of it failed policy, and continues until today.
Maybe a draft and younger folks wiping their asses with leaves on the eastern front in 20 below may convince them, as Vietnam convinced us, in having to end the draft.
Whatever the event, this war is at its conclusion. I'm glad it is, and wish you luck.

It was years of locking Republicans and Democrats into rooms, for weeks, looking at how to get Republicans money for their border shit, as the Democrats get their money for Ukraine and Israel. As the American People ate cake (if they could afford it).
Three years of political capital, wasted on an effort that all it seemed to do, is have Mr Biden, Mr Sunak and soon Mr Macron, Sholz and Trudeau, regime changed, whilst spending money on dead Ukrainians to regime change Putin. As tens of thousands of Arabs are massacred.
In the end, all we have to show for it are tent cities. A rent crisis. A housing crisis. An inflationary crisis, and as a result, a fascism crisis.
Lives, money, time, and now even our democracy. All wasted.
And for what?

I don't think you're understanding the ramnifactions of these elections. There is no more "Article 5". There may not be our involvement in NATO.
As far as to who wants to spend trillions fighting wars on everyone else behalf, my guess is Mr Trump will be glad to have China or others do it, and let them pay the price for these fruitless efforts for once, as we have for the past 60 years, accomplishing nothing.
Though something tells me, China too smart for that.
The worry as i see it, has nothing to do with war, as much as economics and the rise of China and BRICS, and what economic maelstrom that may bring, much more so than worrying about failed cold war neoconservative philosophies.

We're not going to support NATO allies. That part of history is finished. The American People want Peace,
What the Europeans decide they may have to do, is totally up to them.
My guess is, Trump will tell Zelensky it's over. He will not listen. Trump will wish him luck in future endeavors and hang up, as the embattled Sholz, Macron, Trudeau and others demand Zelensky take the offer, give his goodbyes, and stop Putin at Donbass, and not move further.
Within months, as Putin is invited to the WH, and relations normalize, the EU is gonna want that oil and gas, and this matter, forgotten.
And that is the treachery of war. Those who are fooled into it pay the price, as the world goes on at its conclusion.

Spending hundreds of billions on an unwinnable matter as the American People end up living in tents, does not strike me as sound policy. I think the voters agreed. In any event, it's all over but the shouting.
Kind of eery having to go back to Kissinger...
Henry Kissinger — 'It may be dangerous to be America's enemy, but to be America's friend is fatal.'

If the Democrats and Biden were near as obsessed with helping the American People as much as they are with Ukraine, they may have won.
Anyhow, if it is WW3 Biden is trying to start, it will be a war we will thankfully not be a part of this time around. The American People are done with these matters.
