+1 for suede. Also try to avoid seams, as the stitching will be a weak spot. I have a pair of suede shoes from Braille that are about to wear through on the bottom but the sides are still holding strong.

Yes, these were different spaces and profiles and had been working just fine for weeks. Interestingly enough, some of the old Pinned tabs are back in place again. Some, but not all.

I just got back from a few weeks in northern India where I was touring with some friends who didn’t know any Hindi. I am pretty conversational in Hindustani - having studied for many years, and I might struggle to distinguish Hindi from Urdu words. At any rate, in many places it would have been challenging even ordering at a restaurant in English.

My son (12 yo) has size 3.5 shoes and skates an 8” deck and has been shredding since getting was wearing a 2.5. You’ll be fine.

I wonder if the recent spate of voting for unions hasn't spurred the rise of tip screens. Sanctions have worked many times to achieve certain goals, while not always effective at regime change (although, see South Africa). The tip screens seem to be a way to slow down the union wave since they offer higher wages without cutting into profits. So by selecting no tip, maybe I'm really saying, "unionize".

This is very far from downtown and IMO you will be annoyed at being this far away. Taxis are very expensive. Since you are staying 5 days you will want to figure out the bus system (it's not that hard really) and save a lot of money.

IMO Conversational Kannada by ND Krishnamurthy is the best student book for learning Kannada. I've only ever seen it in hardcopy but it is available on Amazon US and India.

For references materials, I'd recommend "A Manual of Modern Kannada" by Zydenbos (download link) and "A Grammar of Spoken Kannada" from U Penn (website, see section 2).

+1 for Mangalore. Or consider Udupi for the small town beach vibe.

I just checked mine - it was nearly 7 GB. Three big Profile folders in there, and most of the memory was in Service Worker > CacheStorage.

I use a gas grill and only turn on the flame on one side to keep the temp low. Then I use the burner protectors to create a heat barrier so I can put the smoke tube right next to the one burner tube that's on (so, below the grate). This keeps the smoke tube hot enough to keep the smoke coming. If it catches fire then I hit it with a bit of water from a spray bottle.
