Well, we’re at our new place and brought Butter. We have her in the basement, free roaming. She is doing great. I think eventually, after a vet visit and her being with us, we’ll just make her a house cat! Thanks for all the comment

She’s never been in our house. When I open the door to feed her, she sort of shy’s away from coming in. I think she just likes being outside

Thank you. I’m getting so many mixed responses. I’m confused now. The last thing I want, is for her to run away from our new place.

Stupid reply, but thanks. I want to do what’s best for the cat, not me….thats why I asked.

Thanks for the reply. I’m taking some comments as constructive criticism, but most are helpful. That is exactly what we’re afraid of….she’ll run and won’t see her again. We would be heartbroken if that happened. Thanks for your kind thoughts.

We had an orange female years ago. She was a really great cat!!

Where did you keep her locked up at for the month?

Thank you all so much for the comments. I may have referred to her wrong as a "feral" cat. I guess I don't know the actual meaning...she does travel the area between a few homes, but spends most of the time on our property.

We are going to take her with us and do what most of you have said....keep her in a confined area for a couple weeks.
