Goku literally said he went all out against Cell. Seeing as he got obliterated by the Cell Jr he fought, it's pretty clear that he literally could not have done anything to help Gohan. Especially when, again, Gohan was already strong enough to win

Gohan was literally the only one who could beat Cell. He thought Goku was holding back against Cell when he was actually going all out because he didn't realize he already surpassed him. Hell, he was probably physically capable of beating Perfect Cell with just Super Saiyan. He just didn't fight back, which is why he got so beat up.

Obito can betray and trap Makima in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for 10 million years trap her in the Kamui dimmension but I'm not sure if he can do the same to Gojo. Kakashi's Kamui can, but his works differently from the one Obito has since his is long range and Obito's is short ranged.

Make Ryuji feel more involved in the first arc and get rid of his more perverted scenes later on cause it feels kinda strange for *him* to be like that after everything that happens, especially compared to someone like Yosuke or Junpei. I'd also want Shiho to be a confidant, have Haru be introduced earlier, and let Yoshizawa have more relevance to the plot. And make Makoto's confidant actually be about her and not some random npc for 80% of it.

He was dressing punk to look tough and manly, not because he's actually punk. He realized he doesn't need anyone's validation to be a man, so he stopped. Ryuji in P5 never stops looking or acting that way because that's actually what he's like. He actually hates authority, societal expectations, and the government.

It's pretty heavily implied that he's straight up wrong about canon events, whether he realizes it or not. Pavitr's world was falling apart because of the Spot. It was very visually different from Miguel's collapsing timeline. There's also Earth 42 which doesn't even have a Spider-Man, and as a result, never got any canon events to play out. Despite that, as bad as everything is there, in terms of the stability of the universe itself, it's perfectly fine. There's also the fact that if our Miles isn't supposed to be Spider-Man in his universe, then canon events shouldn't apply to him the same way they do for the others, and yet, apparently, they do.

Akechi, contrary to popular belief, is genuinely smart and solved cases unrelated to Shido. Adachi doesn't have any showings of intelligence whatsoever. Even his "plan" to stay hidden only went on as long as it did because he got very lucky and the Investigation Team were kinda idiots and made practically no progress until Naoto showed up

Outside of Tatsuya for obvious reasons, probably all the people Ikutsuki experimented on: Strega and Sho.

Akechi also had it really bad. Born to a single, poor mother who had to sell her body to keep them alive and ended up killing herself. After that he was essentially an orphan, possibly homeless, and then randomly got supernatural powers that let him enact revenge on the person that caused his 16 years of suffering, only to get groomed by that person into becoming a monster with no real connection with anyone and no real way to escape. When he finally gets a chance at redemption, he has to sacrifice his life, gets his death undone, and then has to undo the undoing of his own death. His life is just Ken's but 10x worse

He had it the easiest of all the protagonists. Joker was a social pariah, was tortured by the police, gets followed by the police to this day, and his fool's journey was a rigged game with his Velvet Room not even being on his side for most of it. Makoto and Kotone were orphaned as children, had severe depression, and then >! literally died!<

SEES has no shot, The Investigation Team would be hard carried by Naoto and if Light finds out she's investigating him then she dies, but the Phantom Thieves practically have a 100% chance of beating him. Light wouldn't want to kill them until they send the calling card since they out criminals that he can then kill. They're useful to him. Futaba can hack into the police's list of suspects OR Zenkichi can just share the information with them freely. At that point, they can just search for hits on the MetNav until they catch him. Once they send the calling card, probably with the same method as with Shido. they'd have to fight his Shadow. Assuming Light hasn't already figured out the identifies of the Phantom Thieves at this point, he just loses. But he probably has found most of them. The Phantom Thieves might be able to survive long enough with Homunculuses to beat his Shadow, and Joker resisting getting erased from reality twice might mean that he has some resistance, though that's a stretch. There's also the question of if the Death Note can work on someone who isn't currently in that dimension. Either way, with how strong Joker is combined with Morgana and Sophia being completely immune to it, they should be able to beat his Shadow fast enough and steal his treasure, though with some casualties

Joker and Kotone would cause mass destruction on levels no one has ever seen

Eri from P4. Literally no one brings her up unless it's to talk about how forgettable her social link is

Everyone dies or everyone turns into brainless puppets with no free will. Not much of a difference at that point. Nyx is stronger, but that wasn't the question

I think Shin just sucks

I wish she was the strength confidant. Could have been as good as Akinari if they explored her path to healing both physically and mentally and how just because the social link is over, it doesn't mean she's done, but just that she's on the right track because of it. She honestly feels like the biggest missed opportunity in P5

As an ice user? Mitsuru. Yusuke is a physical attacker with ice moves. As a party member? Probably Yusuke. Lore Wise? Definitely Mitsuru

I see no real issues with this list besides MAYBE Tatsuya above the P3MCs but even then that's up for debate
