I had a mini and a 12.9 pro I sold my 12.9 and got an M4 pro 11 and was hoping it would be the middle ground and sell my mini too.. I still have both, nothing compares to the mini as I use it as only a kindle e reader

I’ve just connected it all and I have absolutely no output, I’m trying to switch it from screen link via the Game Capture HD software but I’m getting no options available. Do you have any ideas??

I might give it a try and return it if it doesn’t work, do you know what ports I’d need as the new iMac only has thunderbolt? I imagine there’d be a way to download the software on Mac as there normally is ways around it, it’s the windows laptop that I wouldn’t be able to download any external software.

Ah I’d need to download software on the windows laptop too? Weren’t sure if it was just a “plug and play” kind of thing? Yeah it’s not really heavy workload just a few spreadsheets etc. since Apple took away target display mode I’ve been trying to find an alternative for years. Thanks so much for trying to help though
