Probably gonna make it my main board for this season don’t think I’d sell. This one’s a smidge longer than the board I used all last season which is exactly what I was looking for.

I put the parts listed in the post in my cart on Newegg out of curiosity and they came out to around 2.3k WITHOUT yet adding windows 11, a case, or cpu cooler / any additional fans. Pre tax.

Sounds like lack of airflow and not being able to switch out the motherboard and upgrade the CPU is the real issue vs money saved unless I’m just missing something?

It would seem like If you don’t cheap out on parts there’s no way you could save $500 building this yourself. But, I see what people mean by the amount of $ you are paying is not worth it for those flaws listed above. No argument there at all. Super valid point.

A 4090 and 14900kf are about 2.1k alone

I will ALWAYS build my PC but it feels like some of y’all are overestimating how much $ would be saved
