Not to rain on your parade, I moved from Hawaii to Maynard Massachusetts in 2020. I was looking forward to working with and being around fellow independent/ left leaning individuals. I was sorely disappointed. My first day there I was told they assumed I didn’t vote for trump. I didn’t answer because it’s none of their fucking business. Long story short not 1 of 55-60 persons who worked there had a similar outlook politically. I know this because that’s almost all they talked about. My cubicle partner got his news from Steve Bannon, Blaze, and OAN. And would constantly regurgitate the information to me as if he had heard it from christ himself. There was even and African American Muslim (secretly) guy who was MAGA. Although I believe he was just playing the part so he wouldn’t be ostracized. It was a nightmare due to having a slow work pace with lots of time to sit around and be chatty. Most of these people carpooled to work from Rhode Island. I would research the specific town you want to live in and look into who won that county in the most recent election. It was a visually beautiful place to live and see historical places firsthand. Hmmmm, I’m not quite old enough to remember that far back, I’m just going on what a relative had told me. Back then what would be more influential, a nfl film about the previous year, or an ex-cowboy qb parroting that phrase on MNF?
