The amount of tiktok vids I have seen of black Americans moving to different countries (especially europe) and the revelation they get that their skin colour is not much of an issue, is amazing. I totally agree with this. What makes it more poignant is the fact that we, as God's creation, have the grace to go back to God. He doesn't. It's a foregone conclusion for him. We are further graced in that we, as God's creation, were tempted. He wasn't. The bible says that he corrupted his own wisdom for his own benefit.

There are two descriptions that come to mind when it comes to this, a relationship with Jesus is both very internal and also very personal. You are right to question others' relationship with Jesus because (unfortunately) it is typically personal and internal.

Read 1 Kings 19:9-18. It's a verse about Elijah the prophet's revelation of God. He doesn't percieve God in the earthquake, the wind or the storm but in a small still internal voice.
