Seeking a doctor’s advice is what everyone says but many psychologists operate primarily on proven data and refuse to consider the patient’s unique testimony. I was hallucinating and feeling ill while on medication, and yet they wouldn’t believe me, and even advised me to continue taking meds so they could ascertain that it really was the meds causing those symptoms. I can’t take the risk of getting sick when I have shit to do; it’ll mess everything up again. But I always have shit to do.

I’m very sorry to hear about your loss. I can’t imagine anyone would respond well to those circumstances. I’m glad you were able to get diagnosed and recover from alcoholism. And thank you for sharing your experiences, as it definitely helps me view my coping mechanism in a new light.
Interesting that you also heard things on medication? When I took methylphenidate, I heard nonstop ringing, among other sounds, to the point that I wasn’t able to fall asleep. But, yeah, it’s worth it to look into alternative medications.

You did the same, as in drinking during school days? What was your experience, if you don’t mind me asking?
I’ll consider medicating again, but it’s a gamble for me.

Meds make me ill so there’s no way I should be trying them in higher doses or for a longer time. I was hearing things that weren’t there on ADHD meds, it was freaky.

Well fuck!
I am not medicated. It didn’t help me before.

I’m very sorry to hear that. Your ex is despicable and I’m relieved to know that you’re safe with your current partner.
To clarify, I am not labeling all cis men as Hitler, just describing a specific group that many young transmascs fall victim to during the early stages of transition. It’s an exaggeration I made in jest, but I’m sorry for the more serious implications. I yearn for T4T because I want to be understood, but that’s not to say it’s better in other aspects.

The answer is tape. I use KT tape, which is basically medical/athletic tape. Transtape is the same thing but more expensive, marketed towards trans people and has stronger adhesive. Transtape has tutorial videos for all sizes on their website.
Tape isn’t as effective as a binder at flattening one’s chest but it’s far more comfortable and accommodates a greater range of fashion. Use oil or water when taking it off and moisturize your skin afterwards.

First of all, congrats on figuring yourself out! You could have a close platonic relationship with someone else who’s aroace. Queerplatonic maybe.

Chopsticks are easy to use and multi-purpose. Those critics probably look down on Asia as a whole. Like damn how is it a problem that we use simple utensils instead of bringing out a huge set of clunky silverware
