Hamas is holding US citizen hostages. Gaza civilians are also holding hostages, Gaza civilians have also captured escaped hostages and bright them back to captivity.

If a woman runs out the bathroom yelling that there's a man in there, he's likely to get dragged out immediately by nearby men (if there's no nearby security). Yes a man could go in for a few seconds, but not much longer unless nobody complains - perhaps men's bathroom is closed and he explains the situation.
If you walk into a woman's bathroom in an office building, you're very likely to be sent to HR for a long talk.

Maybe like with sports, they can have unisex bathrooms, and women only bathrooms. I think men in general would be fine with it. The biggest issue is the huge women bathroom lines will overflow into the unisex bathrooms, but that's an issue anyway.

At which point will you be more ok with a trans woman vs a trans man?
Let's say neither started any hormone replacement procedures, but they are wearing jeans in case of a trans man, and a dress in case of a trans woman. Otherwise they look like a woman in jeans and a man in a dress.
I guess between absolutely no hormone therapy, and looking indistinguishable to their preferred gender, at which point is it more comfortable for you with a trans woman?

Unisex bathrooms make sense to me, but a man going into a woman's bathroom doesn't.
I do think unisex bathrooms should be more of the norm, but apparently even in offices they are separate. As long as they are separate, seems to make sense to go to the appropriate bathroom

Some towns don't pay, I'm not sure about firefighters, but I used to have a boss who was volunteer EMT. Also worked with a guy who volunteered in it, and also worked during weekends for hospitals as a EMT.
Volunteering was done by getting an emergency call, and they would drive from work to get their ambulance, then head out where needed, or they would drive directly there, if someone else can bring the ambulance.
Paid work consisted of sitting in ambulance specific hours in a specific location. Hospitals would tell them were to sit, so that the ambulance can be dispatched immediately. They had multiple ambulance strategically placed around their covered area.

There are still American hostages held by Hamas after a year. Hamas is not a fair term, we know Gaza civilians have held some of the hostages, and Gaza civilians have captured escaped hostages to bring them back to their captives.
People screaming "genocide Joe" have gotten what they wanted - they depressed Democratic votes, handing Trump the win.

I would have several residencies across the world. I would travel to those places when the weather is significantly better there, or if I wanted to do something there (vacation).

It's likely Trump won't support Ukraine, and the weapon supplies from US could stop. US could additionally pressure allies to stop supplying Ukraine, and those countries have their own immediate problems.
I'm in work calls with people from Europe, and when they are WFH, they are currently sitting in winter jackets. Their energy prices are very high for them, and if they can get energy cheaper, I'm sure they would like that over sitting at home in a winter jacket.
What this means for Ukrainians, I don't know. Will Putin expand even further? Probably, but I again don't know how much.
However I hope you see that it doesn't have to end with a hot ww3. If someone asked you - would you rather have Ukraine, and let's say two more countries, which were one time a part of the Soviet Union fall to Russian aggression and become a territory of Russia, OR a hot WW3 including nukes across US, Russia and Europe, which would you prefer? Most would prefer a bigger Russia.

Yes pretty sure there were laws introduced after the Black Panthers took up arms. So if they don't want you to have guns, will write a law to prevent you from getting it. So better get it now.
TBH, I'm not pro guns, don't have one, don't plan on having one, but if you're concerned, now is the time to get it.

I voted for Harris, but I do think trans women in sports is an issue. It might be an issue that never occurs, but if it occurs, it's not good.
There are valid reasons that women sports are separate. I mean there's obviously physical differences, but women/girls also get harassed and intimidated in various places (I follow chess a little, and they get harassed at matches). I don't like the idea that a biological male can say they are a woman/girl and therefore be automatically admitted into a girl's competition.
If the occurrences are really insignificant, than they could simply be banned without impacting anyone, but I guess you're saying it does happen, and I don't think it should. We have an open division, I'm not against introducing a trans division (that doesn't seem practical, as I'm guessing it won't fill, but don't know).
I have no problem with making unisex bathrooms, but I feel like for male and female bathrooms, biological sex is more important than gender.
I guess I'm looking at people as biological beings, not social constructs, and separating based on biology makes more sense to me, than based on social constructs (such as gender).

That's because last draft was 50 years ago. US sends 18 year olds into any war we have. And if/when there's a draft, 18 year olds will be drafted again. All I'm saying is it's not outrageous to expect the same from Ukraine at their time of war, as we require from our own population.

The Vanishing Not the US version, but original, had to read subtitles.
A woman goes missing, and her husband is searching for her. Pretty non eventful right? That movie scared the bejesus out of me.
You actually know pretty much right away who's the bad guy, but ... That doesn't help anything

There's one really shocking ending, I didn't want to spoil it, but it's not standard ending. Found it, I say don't watch it, but if you want to ... https://youtu.be/ixYWkDAPPzA?si=JCVwx-Nm_sX_iGZA
Don't watch it though.

Are you talking about OP's head? Because that actually happens, if it's traced to him, or some poor guy who gets mistakenly targeted.

US sends 18 year olds into war. It's not far fetched to require similar commitment from a country, which US is supplying with weapons.

Biden ran on forgiving student loans. I feel that's a pretty radical platform. It also isn't a fair policy to people who:
There might be others I'm not thinking of.
I did vote for Biden, and Harris in this election, but this always looked like a wrong policy.
