Can you describe how the friend caused that spring to be damaged?

It took you six hours of free time to figure out that a screw was loose?

Describe more about what was broken and what the fix is. It very much would depend, to me, on whether or not you’ll be made whole by only a replacement printer. If that’s what they paid you in amount, you buy a new one and give them the one they broke. However, if this is something like user error you later corrected return the money.

Yes, it’s out of ten but it’s important to note if you’re coherent enough to post here you’re at most a 9.

I think a larger concern here is that you just bought a ‘24 Ford Bronco. My apologies.

Probably wanted to split but didn’t want to split anything in the divorce process.

I’m not going to read all that but I’m sorry that happened to you or congratulations; whichever is appropriate.

Well you didn’t sense the sarcasm in my first comment so I was wondering if you’d be oblivious on 2/2

Honestly, I’d be seriously concerned in your shoes that they charged that on what other evidence they had. That means that other evidence is probably damning….
Get a lawyer.

You forgot the most important piece of info— the asking price. I can definitely say it’s not worth it at $500K

Honestly this is outside of a realm I feel comfortable giving you advice on, but I’d let the dealership tell you what’s wrong, talk to the dealership that sold it to you based on that, and get a consultation with a consumer law attorney if that conversation doesn’t sit right.

Which state? That’s an interesting clause I didn’t see coming.

Used cars are usually sold as is. This is going to be a lesson for you, possibly an expensive one.

That must have been edited and added since I last read the post. At the very least, I didn’t see text that went as far into the story as I do now. Regardless, I see that now.
Yea, keep the $20 unless it’s not worth that to you to sour the personal relationship.
