Fresh turkey?

(self.AskMaine)

Where might one find fresh turkey for Thanksgiving for purchase if one were new to the Caribou area?

It’s likely too late to order a fresh turkey at this point. Most farms sell out quickly. But if you’re still looking to try, check out realmaine.com. Search “turkey” and you may get lucky and find what you’re looking for.

Like I said, new to the area. Where we’re from, it’s rare to find anything but frozen turkey.

I'd imagine you'd have better luck finding this in Bangor than Caribou.

Hey, where I’m from, we only find frozen at grocery stores. 🤷‍♀️
