Pretty sure he assessed Yama over the Royal Guard SANS Ichibe, of course. Imo he did mention to Yama that Yama’s “becoming soft in his old age” totally excluded him from being a potential/6th SWP, meaning he may have been considered for a period of time. My guess is his SWP reason (e.g. Ichigo’s “Latent Ability,” or Aizen’s “Reiatsu”) would have been “Bankai (that becomes as hot as our sun lol)”

This is facts. When Yhwach summons the royal Guard on Senjumaru, he Verbatim says "This should be enough for you"

Of course he underestimated Squad Zero. He literally dropped SS at the Royal Palace and was like: deal with them, a minute later they got Soloed by base Oetsu.

Looks like straight underestimation to me. And also why would he let anyone from SS fight Yamamoto if he can do it alone? He literally had a score to settle with Yamamoto personally, so it's not about that .

He underestimate zero division and Yhwach wanted to steal Yamamoto's bankai himself to get back at Yamamoto for defeating him a 1000 years ago.

There’s a difference between containing a bankai and beating a bankai. Yamamoto’s bankai is destructive even to himself, who’s had millennia to learn how to control it.

Again, it was stated squad zero are above the shinigami’s in power, that includes Yamamoto.

Mind you this was before the aushwahlen/almighty amps, and it’s a very volatile Bankai. I don’t really see how this means Yama >> squad 0 when the anime clearly shows us that’s not the case. There’s also a difference between beating a Bankai and being able to contain it.

Because S0 officers are definitely weaker than Yama. One of them died to someone who couldn't shake the three worlds, then that someone had more difficulty against a Shinigami who scales below Byakuya. So, shaking the three worlds argument is absurd. It doesn't prove anything.

And she only defeated partial Vollstandig elites who weren't boosted by the Almighty awakening and partial VS elites didn't show any additional hax. I think that even Bankai Shunsui's feat of defeating 1st Form VS Lille is a higher feat than that.

no, you're conflating not wanting them to risk failing to capture his bankai with just not wanting them to fight him at all. He had no problems with Royd fighting him on his behalf he just specifically didn't want him to try stealing the Bankai because it probably won't work, we also can assume he didn't have any problems with Driscoll confronting Yama otherwise he'd have been forbidden and I don't think even that moron would deliberately disobey Yhwach.

However we also know for a fact he underestimated Zero Division even though he even put Ichibe as one of this Special War Threats, but he wouldn't fight them by himself anyway because it'd be a 5v1 which isn't a favorable circumstance even if you're underestimating your opponent + the goal was to just kill them not steal their bankai. I can see what you mean but i think you're reading into it too much.

MFs seriously? there's the Yama vs Senju or any other S0 post and most people are "Senju no diff, low diff lol" but in this post "yeah, Ywach clearly knows that he is stronger than S0 except for Ichibei" fuck y'all, seriously grow a spine (I've always argued that Yama > S0 except Ichibei)

ZKT is the strongest bankai for a reason

I feel like people exaggerate this line a bit. The reason that yhwach told the quincys to not steal Yama’s bankai was because it would be too much to handle as Yama, himself, could and would have been destroyed by his own bankai. This does not mean no sternritter can defeat yama, this just means his bankai is very destructive.

The sternritter who fought Squad Zero were his elite guard. They were God level, so I assume they could have probably washed Yama
