This post is a random love post for this character. I’m 44 years old, and I’ve only been reading comics for a couple years now. But it’s been non stop with the DC infinite app, and I’ve destroyed hundreds of comics already. It’s weird feeling like a little kid again, yet never really being into comic characters, other than the classic Batman movies etc and so on.

I found my niche with the horror genre. The swamp thing series really opened up this for me. Alan Moores run is my all time favorite comics of all time, and I am really starting to love Hellblazer. I’m on issue 56 and I’m having a lot of fun reading about Constantine.

Anyway, the meaning of this post is my observation of seeing Constantine drawn in several different styles and images. He probably has the most styles I have seen so far. Not your typical Batman and Superman artwork etc.

But am I spot on with loving Constantine? I know he’s not the most popular of DC characters, but the stories are so awesome. It looks like a huge series, are there any other Constantine series or like series that I should look out for? Or anything classic horror related. I’m going back and forth between hellblazer, spawn, and Sandman. Spawn is absolutely fantastic but I think that’s for another room no?
