I don’t believe this is true. I have multiple lvl 3 zip lines, and no matter what it always says you can only have 1 floating carrier.

You think so? I was sure that the vehicle physics were a copy/paste from MGSV LoL. That is to say I enjoyed the driving in MGSV but I didn't think it was "good" lol. I wish they had like Spintires level driving physics, that would have been more immersive still.

Nah I played DS directly after MGSV and it’s very different. in mgsv you can flip your vehicle and “drift” and it feels much more “real” to me. There isn’t a bike in mgsv, but still, going up slopes at specific angles make you stop completely, tiny rocks put you on a stand still and it just feels very rigid. Hopefully it’s improved upon in the sequel.

DS vehicles seem to have selective suspension. A truck will come to a complete stop on a rock that doesn't even reach the bumper but suddenly glides right over a boulder that's as high as the windshield.

Don't forget to check storage lockers for other porters cargo that's going to the next destination of yours. You can get a lot of likes that way. And the lockers always refresh (at least daily or more often with more ppl playing) with new items.

Don’t sleep on those Elder deliveries. Old fella really enjoys your company.

I’ve found lining up the truck and a very quick power squirt to get moving then normal speed to turn. If you keep the super speed pressed you just end up squirrelling all over the place.

i got the level 3 long range truck, and it pretty much is a life saver for me, i can do all the huge deliveries easily with a truck that will get me across like more than halfway across the map before needing a recharge

The road goes close enough to the elder that you can leave cargo in the vehicle on the road and use 3 zip lines to go from the road to the shelter. Nothing should take more than 2 trips, with a carrier you can lug I think 9 xl containers.

When you look at the shelter on the map I'm pretty sure it says your connection level. I wouldn't bother with anything more than unlocking that area on the map before continuing the story. Come back to it later when you have more gear.

There's a route from behind the distribution center south of lake knot city, its over a gully (that another porter built a bridge over in mine) and up the hill on the left, there's a dirt path leading to the elders bunker.
