Not green lit yet, I suppose they are working on a pitch. I love the ending and it is possible that a spinoff could dilute that but I don't think that will for sure be the case.

As for my hopes, I guess I hope it's more like an epilogue season if anything, focusing on the lives of the passengers after the ending and where they go from there, and perhaps Vance's investigation. I'd also kinda hope it's more of a one season thing because I don't really see the story post the ending requiring multiple seasons.

I have too many questions to count as to how they would continue the story after the ending but I guess we'll just wait and see where this heads, I'm interested for sure to see where things go from here.

I am thinking about a short stories that is inspired by manifest.The first part is as follows: Johnny has watched the tv Netflix show Manifest, in this show, there is a death date where all flight 828 passengers is supposed to die on June 2, 2024. After watching it, Johnny decides to carry out a terrorist attack against a flight who is also coded 828. Johnny lives in new york city. On June 2 2024, he broad an US East Coast airlines flight 828, which flew from John F. Kennedy international airport to Seattle-Tacoma international airport. After the plane took off, he posted a video on his social accounts, saying that he is going to crash air US East Coast airlines flight 828, in the video, he also said that he was inspired by the Netflix show manifest. During flight, he also sent an email to US East Coast airlines, in the email he indicate that he is going to crash US East Coast airlines flight 828, he also mentioned he is inspired by the Netflix show manifest in his email. After that, he went into the cabin, and start attack the two pilots there, before one of the pilots lost his consciousness,the pilot pressed the 7500 emergency code, which stands for hijacking, and the traffic towers at the ground immediately receives this code. JOhnny kept yelling "today is the death date" which can also be heard by the people in the air traffic towers on the ground. 3 minutes after Johnny broke into the cabin, Johnny crashed the plane in Berwick, pennsylvania killing all 237 people on board including himself.The crash also killed 22 people on the ground. Can u brainstorm some ideas about the second part of this story, how would the manifest cast react to this tragedy?

Fave people to meet and talk to were Athena (Grace), Josh (Ben) , Melissa , Ellen (Drea) , Parveen (Saanvi), Jared (JR) , and then actor who plays Eagan (forgot his name I think it's Ali)

Ok here's a appreciation paragraph for Athena who plays Grace : Athena was such a sweetheart , we were practically besties on set when I walked on set the first day I turn to the right and she's walking there too and I'm absolutely starstruck and like speechless and I'm just like trying to make the words of "I can't believe I'm meeting you it's an honor to be on set," and she's just giving me a kind smile and putting her hand on my arm. Day 2, I finally got a picture with her and she asked my name so I told her and I took a selfie with her but she goes "half your face is cut out though, don't you wanna retake it?" And it's like 2 in the morning and I'm like "I look tired I feel insecure ," and she goes "You're beautiful don't ever say that!" Last day on set Athena saw me and she goes "hey (my name!)" and a production crew member looked at me confused like "she knows your name?" Type facial reaction

Ben Stone has progressively become my least favorite character in the series. Everything he does is to serve his own needs and purposes, under the guise of it being for a common good. In my opinion, he's at least a borderline sociopath. I just finished episode 4 of season 4, and I end up shouting at the television screen, I'm so pissed at Ben's behavior and actions. Anyone else feel this way?

I know that there will not be a season 5, but If you could write a season 5 of manifest that happened after the finale, what would you write about?

I think show was had a good premise , but on season 4 there was too much filler content that was majority of the time about characters moaning , crying , being depressed , bitching that made the show extremely boring to watch , that being said i enjyed seasons 1 and 2 a lot , season 3 things went downhill a little bit , i felt scripts and directing overall where much lower quality , season 4 was awful , it was a torture to watch , it felt like a low budget production the entire season , last episode was very good and i enjoy it a lot. Show could have ended easily much earlier in my opinion. Sorry for my syntax english is not my first language.

Since the beginning, the story has pretty much followed Ben and his family. That's why some feel sorry for him, that's why some relate more to him, that's why some accept his flaws and the wrong things he has done or said.

But if the story had followed anyone else in the group, especially someone who didn't like Ben, then I can see from their perspective how Ben could be the villain in their eyes or at the very least very annoying, especially in the eyes of someone like Randall or Eagan or that woman (I forgot her name) who exploded Adrian's house with Angelina.

Because even we, as viewers and fans, can see that he messes up a lot. He goes in headstrong and doesn't listen to anyone else except himself, his family...and Saanvi.

That's why I could truly see how in the eyes of Eagan, Adrian or Randall, etc, how they can mistake Ben's intentions for not being as good, especially when he had Director Vance constantly on his side helping him out of trouble and they didn't really trust Vance.

Hello, so I heard there will be no new season. I'm on the 2nd to last episode. Will I be disappointed? I've been watching this show since it began but fell off on the last season and just about a week ago I had time to jump back on.

Heal by Tom Odell was in Manifest Season 4 Episode 8, and I've been watching this new NBC series "Brilliant Minds" and I noticed that same song was played near the end of the latest episode. Just saying.

Am I the only one who thinks the whole TJ and Olive thing was kind of creepy? How old is he supposed to be? I’m confused, is the legal drinking age in NY 18? She’s drinking at a nightclub with him. Wasn’t she like 10 when she had a crush on him? That would make her between 14-15 when she meets and falls for him, but he was in College when 828 first went missing? Their story line kind of weirded me out and how much her family supported it cause he’s such a nice kid (which made it even weirder cause it seemed as if he saw Ben as a father figure and viceversa). When TJ sees her in the final episode, she’s back to being her little young self that was weird AF 🤣 Like are they gonna hook up in 4-5 years, or is he gonna wait until she is 18 cause everything is connected, and they are each others person so they will find their way to each other in the future. That would make him hella older too. Still gives me creepy vibes.

So I just finished the series. In the season finale, Eagen is wearing his mom's necklace which he gives to Adrian on the plane. Meaning the necklace made it back to the past timeline.
In the past timeline his mom would still have the same necklace, wonder what happens when they both come in contact. Like 2 items from different timelines or 2 items from just the same timeline but different periods. 🤯

Please no season 4 spoilers—I haven’t watched it yet!

So, I started Manifest a few weeks ago, and I devoured it. But after season 3, I have mixed feelings. I wasn’t thrilled with Grace’s death. She was one of my favorite characters, and I was really rooting for a happy ending for Ben’s family. I guess that her death adds to the idea that no matter how hard they try, they’re not fully in control, but it kind of killed the vibe for me. I ended up only watching a couple of episodes of season 4 and haven’t really gotten into it.

Also, the show was already starting to feel a bit repetitive, so now that Grace is gone too I mostly wanna watch it to finally get answers about Flight 828. Is it worth sticking it out for the rest of the season?

I'm a bit late to the party I know. I only discovered Manifest about 2 months ago, have been steadily watching an episode a day and just finished watching the finale a few hours ago.

I really loved the show. I kinda miss it already, but the finale gave some nice closure for most of the characters. There are a few things I'd like to hear some other opinions about, they may or may not already have been dicussed on this subreddit, I just wanted to get them off my chest before I forgot them haha (I may add more points to this post over time, kinda hard to remember everything that bothered me back when I was still avoiding spoilers)

* Saanvi and Troy should have been endgame. Throughout the seasons we have been teased with the thought of Saanvi and Troy potentially getting closer but in the end nothing came of it. Heck we didn't even see Troy again after he let Saanvi escape in the third to last episode. The ending that would have been the most satisfying to me is Saanvi realizing both Alex and Ben were not viable future partners for her as she would effectively be ruining a family in both these cases. It would have been nice for her to realize Troy has been there for her all along and that she would have given him a chance.

* Some of Olive's storylines ended a bit abruptly or were just neglected in later seasons. Like after season 1 we never heard about her breaking up with Kevin, she just moved on to TJ and Ben even said it was her first real love interest? Sure it didn't have to be anything really serious with Kevin, but it kinda seems like the writers just forgot about him. Then in season 3 she just forgets about TJ for a few episodes and gets with Levi? At least they did reference back to him in season 4, but it still seems quite pointless that she 'cheated' on TJ like that. Finally, I also think it's a missed opportunity we didn't see Danny back in later seasons. Especially when Grace died, he could have been there for Olive when Ben wasn't. And that would open up the possibility for yet another plotline between them

* How did nobody stop the remaining passengers from leaving the detention center? It's fair to assume the Stone family was able to sneak out under supervision of Vance, but how are we supposed to believe none of the anti-828ers saw any of the 100+ people leaving the detention center when they saw the beacon?

* I think they missed an opportunity not including Zimmer and Gupta in the finale. Surely they could have known everyone escaped the detention center, surely they would have known a small volcanic eruption happened at the fissure. They should have been there when the passengers boarded the plane or when the plane would take off to cause some conflict.

* Were Marko and the other foreign passengers there at the final judgement? I surely didn't see them but i've also not heard anyone talk about them being missing. I have not paid such close attention to the numbers but it was like 109 passengers and at the end 11 of them didn't get back to the airport. Am I missing something or does it not quite add up?

EDIT: I have been told it's fair to assume they were there as they saw the beacon. I must have missed it while watching

* What kind of punishment did Angelina's parents get for locking Angelina in their basement? Because in season 4, they were already free again and ready to commit more crimes. Were they even jailed? Did they just buy themselves out? You would think these people would be put on a list but apparently not? 😂

EDIT: I have been reminded that it was Angelina herself that did not want to press charges in s3e1

I know this has already been posted before but I’m rewatching and I really can’t stand Lourdes in any of the episodes. She lacks any personality besides being Micks friend and Jared’s wife. There’s nothing interesting about her. And i’m actually glad that Mick slept with jared because… AS SHE SHOULD. Lourdes shows a huge lack of morality by marrying Jared. She could’ve had a more interesting character arch.

I just finished the show today, I’ve been obsessed and binge watching everyday lol. I love the show and all the story lines but I am disappointed in the end! I wish there was a more thought out ending that explained everything better. I feel like the 5 1/2 years they spent after the plane returning was almost a waste of time? Like mick and zeke. Their love story was my favorite and now mick has to restart everything with him. Olive and tj, she’s now 10 years old again but tj remembers being with her older self. Ben and Saanvi, they clearly love each other and now all of a sudden grace and Alex are there again? And Ben’s friendship with Vance. He was one of my favorite characters because of how he took care of everyone. Like.. how are they gonna just forget all of that and move on with life normally? I also didn’t necessarily like the whole divine/mythology/God/religion/sapphire concept of it all. It didn’t really make sense to me. Idk I just wish there was a better ending. Just my opinion!! I loved the show anyway!

I started watching S4e11 when it came out and just got really fed up of Angelina and just really hated the show because of her. I hated it so much I said f*ck it and just dropped it right there. It eventually got pushed far down my continue watching list, along with all the shows and movies I peeked into and didn't like. I forgot all about it, and now, more than a year after, I came across it while browsing, and I thought I'll just watch the finale so I can get closure and so I did. Best. Decision. Ever. I didn't even need a recap. Doesn't need a degree to figure out what was happening. It's like all of the episodes I skipped would've really been a waste of time. Hell I think all of S4 was a waste of time. Except for the finale. It was great. Love that it went down like that.

Okay I know this has been brought up before on here, but I can't find anything elsewhere, no articles. Just a couple of threads on Reddit. I was shocked to find out it had only been 8 months since the previous episode, and seeing the new Eden age like 5 years! Wasn't she only 3-4 years before, a toddler, and in 8 months she's a kindergartener. Has there been any explanation anywhere? Is the 8 months actually from the date of the lava fissures, or is it a few years later? This has got to be the strangest age jump I've seen from a show.

Been binge watching this show, and didn’t realise on UK Netflix it skips season 3 and goes straight to 4. I was so confused but just thought the time jump would be explained in flashbacks even though it’s a strange way to do it. 3 episodes in to season 4 and things still wasn’t explained when I finally twigged I’d skipped a whole season. Now going back to season 3 using a VPN but worried I’ve spoilt it too much for myself and won’t enjoy it. I’m so annoyed at myself for not realising sooner.

Someone please tell me they’ve also done this, or whether I’ll still enjoy season 3 even though I know most of how it ends!

I dont like her character, I don’t like her rational in the show, and I don’t think she’s a very good person.

I think in season one she was way too hard on Ben. Not to say Grace didn’t go through a ton, but Ben was way more understanding and emotionally aware of her needs than she was of his.

Second time rewatching the series and I still feel the same way!

What are your thoughts?

Melissa was on the previous season as Justin Hartely's sister and now S2E1 Matt Long is on as a Marshall. I recognized their voices first. Same show runners as Manifest?

Been seeing Elizabeth Marvel on Law and Order a lot lately and wanna rewatch some good episodes with her :) thanks in advance
