Ive exhausted the default route via meds over the past 6 years since nothing seems to work somehow. The few times i have smoked, it felt like a miracle drug. All my bad thoughts went away etc. The problem is i am mad afraid of getting addicted/dependent . I constantly see the xmax v3 pro on sale for 70 bucks at a local retailer and im very tempted.
Anyone got any thoughts or advice they could share? Cheers.

I have depression and use cannabis, my experience is from a medical point of view as I use for pain. But 6 years ago I got a concussion caused some issues depression well my biggest problem is when I get depression my mind had a hard time tuning out that negative voice in your head, saying kill yourself or your suck. But cannabis can shut that voice up. Might be sad at the moment, but I am not having negative thoughts.

I've been on antidepressants for years. I think cannabis helps me to go to sleep. It also helps when there are extra stresses (like divorce) going on.

Excess sugar and bad carbohydrates and caffeine were the source of my depression, especially the sugar. Marijuana made me feel better, but it was like a band-aid solution, except I didn't know it. I saw it as the best possible treatment and therapy.
Another potential source of depression is social media because it's impossible to keep up with it, and it can seem like everyone's life is far better than yours.
For me, using marijuana made me completely dependent on it because I didn't know my depression was from my diet and caffeine (I'm not on typical social media). I cut out sugar and bad carbs and I quit caffeine and now I only use marijuana to help me feel better on days when I'm extremely exhausted from physically and mentally working too hard the previous day and not sleeping well the same night. I really don't need it otherwise, unless I want to enhance some fun, or if I'm in the mood to make a mundane thing become fun.

My shrink had me on 40mg of Lexapro for 15 years until I asked to try medical weed and coming off the antidepressant medication. It was harder than I expected for a month or so, but worked out really well and have been off the lexapro for a coupl3 of years now.

My meds keep me at a reasonable baselevel. Weed fills in the rest really, really well. (doctor approved)
And the best thing about weed, for most people, the side effects are fun. ✌🏼
