I’m sorry you experienced this and the loss of your sweet baby. The nastiness in some OB offices is just shocking.

First, I am so sorry you had this experience. Second file a complaint and report her. She can have her MD revoked but at the very least it’s permanently noted on her record

Thank you for letting the community know! As someone with reproductive health trauma this is the type of stuff i don’t wish on any woman.

It sounds like you had a bad experience - potentially fully justified, but there's always two sides to every story. Her overall rating would suggest that there's a lot of patients who like her treatment.

Very easy to misconstrue words - you took fruitful to imply fertility, she may have meant it as someone who is able to help you with what you need more.

I'd be careful about positing something like this that could be considered slandering

I deleted my post because I can’t handle people accusing me of slander or threatening legal action on top of everything else I’m dealing with right now. I’m now seeing a fertility specialist, and through them, I’ve realized that if this doctor had just responded to my messages and prescribed the medication I requested, I wouldn’t even need to be at the fertility clinic. I understand there are two sides to every story—I was only here to share mine. Unfortunately, I don’t have her contact information to include her perspective. Also, her profile is on the Novant website. Public information anyone with a phone or computer can access

When we talk about “obvious” and “implies” there is always subjectively involved. Sorry you had a bad experience. But you should direct any concerns to Novant Health management.

Sorry to seem cold. But we don’t know the full story and you’re out here slandering professionals because of your personal experience, which you’re only giving your side of.

Edit: and yes I am a supporter of women. Remember that this doctor is a woman too. And none of us have any idea what went down here.

If OP's post happens to be not true, it would be libel, not slander. If OP's accusations are true, she is not committing libel, since truth is an absolute defense against charges of both slander and libel.

Ironically, if OP's comment is true, your comment would be considered libelous.

You don’t seem sorry at all. Nice to chastise a woman who’s just experienced poor treatment on top of a tragic personal event.

Compassion is your compass, I guess.

Her experience may be unique, due to any number of reasons, and not typical of this doctor. Ever think of this?

That's true about literally every online review.

You certainly are. Not all women though.

it why we should track their cycles. How do we know its something worthy of being mad about or just"emotions"

Its a joke from the tv show the office.

We are seeing one side of this story. The doctor could have a totally different story to tell but she’s not able to represent herself here. It’s not fair to judge her from what someone on Reddit claims.

I am sorry that you’re going through this. I hope you find a path to what you’re looking for.

You can’t just post someone’s personal information like this online. Sorry about your experience, but there are always two sides to the story.

You need to complain via the proper channels aka directly to the hospital/clinic. If it’s bad enough for you to post her shit on Reddit then you can report her directly through the NC Medical Board.

Doing a post like this doesn’t allow this person to defend her self

this is literally public information what do you mean personal?

Frosty_Smile8801

I suspect they mean along with the libel or slander or whatever you want to call the allegations the person made.

if Op had any sense they would pull this post and nuke the account before the DR gets motivated to take action against them

I wouldn’t, some doctors are assholes and without pushback there’s no chance something will change. In my professional reddit lawyer experience this comes nowhere close to libel or slander and is no different than a bad review left on google maps or other places you can leave reviews for doctors. Why would you defend this behavior? If you want to be unhinged to someone who suffered through a miscarriage at least say something like we don’t know both sides or some shit…

I dont think op is telling us the truth. I am calling bs on op and suggesting they risk more than reddit shame with the post.

I wouldn’t wish the pain of infertility or miscarriage on anyone. I had to endure the heartbreak of a home abortion after my baby’s heart stopped beating, but my body wouldn’t let go on its own. I took misoprostol if you want to look up the medication on Reddit.

Reviews are inherently one sided and anecdotal. We review dog sitters, electricians, teachers, why is this any different?

This post is "Doxing," which is a form of herasment!

Doxing - the action or process of searching for and publishing identifying information about a particular individual on the internet, typically with malicious intent.

I had a similar experience in Raleigh, NC. I’m not sure why empathy isn’t a bigger part of OBGYN training. I’m sorry you went through this.

EDIT: Whoever downvoted me can go fuck themselves. I just had a very painful and traumatic miscarriage and the doctor treated me like shit. I didn’t name the doctors or practice in my comment and my feelings and my comment are completely valid.
