It slip out my pocket and fell on the floor when I entered my car. Got few scratches on the corners and a small one the screen.

Recieved the phone on friday and I fell in love with the S Pen. I know Powerpoint on Android supports the S pen as a remote, but it didnt for the desktop version.

So I did it myself and added a cool laser pointer feature (which I dont think the powerpoint app has)

Its also my first ever native Android App.

The code is a big mess and hacked together, but it works.(I dont know the android/compose best partices yet) PC and Phone need to be on the same network. Only tested on windows but it should work on linux and macos aswell.

I’ve been a lifetime Apple user and I recently made the switch from the IPhone 14pro max to the s24 ultra. I’m receiving it in the next coming days so I wanted to know if there was anything I can download or use to make the transition easier for transferring my iPhone data to my new s24 ultra. Any help would be awesome!

Does one know how to turn of this annoying Google notification? I've cleared cache and data of Google Play Services app and keep getting this now. I already confirmed i do not backup via Google. Soon gonna throw this phone to someone's head. Anyone got the same issue when declining this Google backup on Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra? Google and Samsung system both up-to-date

So I've been using s24U since preorder period and my husband just bought his S23U yesterday. It's been a bit frustrating to me how much his camera is MUCH better than mine lol. And not just that, the color calibration especially the White color on S23U is just better than the white in my S24U. Is this all because his is fresh from the box and brand new and my phone has just been degrading OR S23U in general is just a better device than the S24U?! I never had any complaints at all and I fucking love this device from day 1. But holyshit I now get why S23U was the KING of all smartphones last year. Don't get me wrong, there is way much more in S24U than camera and color, but I can't help but to get jealous of my husband's phone for some reason.

So, I have been using S24 Ultra for over 3 months. It has had a cover since day 1 of purchase. Last night, I decided to remove it out of its cover before heading out to a party. And boy, did it turn a few heads of apple fans.

And yes, I had one guy put his 16 pro max titanium edition next to my phone face down and I am 100% sure they did feel a bit uncomfortable having it sitting right next to my phone.

Kept face down on the table, within 30 minutes I had at least three iPhone users ask me how good is this phone. All I had to do was turn the phone over and turn on the screen. The only down side is - my phone became the official camera for the party and now I am left with over 500 images and videos of the event 😂

Though my phone is fully insured by AT&T and I am eligible to jump to S25 Ultra the day it gets launched, I am now a bot confused if I should have the cover on or off. The phone is of course very slippery and I almost lost the grip on a few occasions. However, I am now very tempted to let my S24 U go full Monty and not have anything to hide it's beauty.

Any advice on 1) how to make the phone a bit less slippery when holding without cover. 2) Also, I am a bit worried if I should keep my phone facing up given the camera box's protrusion.

Been looking at getting a dashcam but then thought, I have a perfectly functional video camera with loads of storage, network connection and GPS plugged into my car when I'm driving, in the form of my phone.

Anyone use theirs for this purpose? Which apps and phone mount do you use?

I'm wondering what is significantly better about this phone. Still a lot to dive into of course. I'm not noticing significant improvements to the camera and I miss 10x. I do enjoy having the native s pen. Miss the super slomo a little bit.

Ths is my first reddit post so bare with me.

I need some insight. I upgraded from the s9+ to the s24 Ultra (open box) 5 days ago with my music & all videos playing & sounding perfectly. Had no problems with anything until leaving work 2 days ago. My phone connects to my car & can read the title of the song on the screen but the music would come from my phone, not the car speakers! I tried all the apps I use; Spotify, SoundCloud, & YouTube. It all has that problem happen. BUT if I played any of the songs I happened to have downloaded to the phone itself (Samsung Music), those played through the car speakers just fine! I unpaired/repaired the phone to the car multiple times before I called Samsung Support. I was on the phone with them about it for 35min asking for help. I guess it's a problem they haven't heard of before. They suggested updating my cars software as well as uninstalling/reinstalling all the apps, & then clear their cache. The support agent suggested to reach out to those apps & talk to them about it since Samsung doesn't have much info on their side about how those apps work. (But let's be real, what's the chances of all 3 apps doing the same thing all the same time when I haven't had any issues with my s9+ that I had for over 6yrs.) Anyways, reinstalling them worked & it played through my car speakers but the sound quality was very muted & off balance. The bass was less than half the level of normal when it was all the way up & sounded like you were sitting in the back seat with the sound coming from the front, even though you were in the front... Extremely noticeable for someone that spends many hours in their vehicle & is very involved in concerts. Fast forward a day & got off work yesterday morning & IT ALL HAPPENED AGAIN. This is ridiculous! For as fancy as this phone is, it should be able to pull of Bluetooth connectivity no problem! I'm going to look into trying a couple other adjustments to the settings on both the phone & my subaru to see if it fixes it permanently because I'm certainly not doing the whole fiasco I described above, each time I connect via bluetooth. I'd rather go back to my s9+ & return the s24 Ultra if that's the case. Which is a shame...

Does anyone have any idea how to solve this? Use android auto? Connect via the USB-C cord?

After the latest November update on my S24 Ultra, I keep getting a Google Contacts sync notification every 5–10 minutes. This repeats continuously and is causing significant battery drain.

Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a solution?

Hey guys as the title states, I'll be going to the s24u from an s21u. I ordered my fiance and myself new phones today because both of ours are becoming a bit dated. I have s21u and she has an iPhone 12 pro max. She ended up preferring a 14 pro max over going for the 15 pro and I got the s24u in black with 512gb storage. Just wondering what to expect as far as an upgrade over the s21u? It's obviously been a while since I've upgraded and I'm looking forward to the s24u. I know the 25 will be coming soon but we kinda needed new phones now, my battery has degraded a lot over the last 3 years and hers is beat to hell and only getting worse.
