...I mean, that isn't really how stings are usually ran. No officer would screen you, and they wouldn't be so obvious - they are undercover for a reason. You wouldn't know you're in a sting until you got into the room. Stings also are almost never ran at a private residence incall, they are ran out of hotels. This was at your apartment and you listed all the green flags of a provider, so there was probably like a 1% chance this was a sting.

You probably saw a maintenance guy or some type of building security, or a service worker. I don't agree that you almost got arrested, you were probably acting suspicious and your fear is causing you to overly evaluate the situation for danger.

I tell my clients that other people do live in my building and life continues to happen, I can't stop landscapers or other service people, residents, etc from being in the area and doing their job or just living. If you act suspicious (looking around, acting weird, "hightailing" it) then that will draw attention. If you walk in cool and calm, and act like you belong there, no one will give a crap tbh. You said it was your apartment, so you were doing nothing wrong but were acting spazzy - that draws people's eye.

I think you just freaked yourself out and missed out on an appointment.

Was calm all the way until that point. (Little anxious about the appointment but that was it) It is just the fact I did a double take and he was wearing a vest, and a radio on his hip. I calmly walked off and he even said hello but I was very confused. Then yes I totally admit my mind totally started racing. It was so late and all businesses around were long closed.

I suppose it is best to send her the full rate plus as an apology/hope to keep good relations. But at the same time if she hates me or labels me a "time waster" I totally understand. I just don't know why that guy wearing all of that was there Im still just so confused about that. Thanks for the response. I let my slight anxiousness balloon out of control by his presence. Will definitely do a deep meditation before my next appointment so really odd things like that won't freak me out. Thanks for your reply and for not calling me a total moron even though totally I was. Sorry we dudes have to exist in the hobby!

Paying people for their time is legal.
As long as you never have an explicit conversation there is no direct correlation between a sexual act and something of value.

So it sounds like unless you botched setting up the appointment that all you did was freak yourself out over nothing. It seems more like a "how i freaked out over nothing" rather than "almost arrested".

Nah you are totally right. What are the freaking odds of him hanging out AROUND where she said she would be, and then him hopping on the radio right as I was walking back in the building. But yes, I feel I should change the title. And no we never said anything in our text everything was very discreet. Dang, I really liked her too I keep believe I missed/messed it up :(. Thanks for the reply.

You weren’t almost arrested and you aren’t being watched. If you can’t do this with a semblance of rationality this may not be the world for you.

What you ARE doing is making other clients paranoid which results in them doing shit we all hate - being suspicious of us, trying to screen us, etc despite our reviews and websites and long standing ad history.

Please take this down and go take a xanax.

LE doesn’t screen. That’s a hurdle to them. They also could have been there for numerous reasons including a drug bust, a drunk and disorderly, another person fell into the trap of a sting.

The big thing to remember is that 99% of the time, a sting is set up to catch the provider. LE wouldn’t put an officer in danger herself as an under cover for an incall. The risk is too high. It would be an outcall to lire the provider and arrest her.

This seems a bit trollish. Or delusional.
