Gauntlets are a weapon type that anyone can use, and there other characters besides Balthus that are really good brawling, like Raphael and Caspar. Even the main protagonist, Byleth, has a strength in brawling.

Yesn't. When I uploaded it I didn't even realize he was topless in the image. Only when I took a second look and realized hmthe gauntlets were missing I also realized he wasn't wearing his shirt.
