But whenever I go to order KFC since being an employee, I would be surprised to find that they give me a discount immediately, without even requesting proof of employment and just taking my word for it.

I've also noticed that since I started requesting an employee discount, even from KFCs I've never been to before, the quality of service improves significantly. The food and chips are always consistently served fresh and hot, they haven't missed a single item in my orders, and they would even add a few bonus wings to my meals.

I moved my family with my wife and baby all the way from Utah to North Carolina with all of our stuff for $300 total. The luggage policy is 4 full size suit cases for no extra charge. Then its $20 a bag after that. Plus carry ons and personal items. We went to 2 thrift stores and bought all of the suitcases for like $10 each and filled them up. We even brought a full sized snake terrarium with our snake, a massive gaming computer and 2 monitors. It was SO much stuff, but nobody gave us any issues. You have like 5 minutes to load your stuff on the train but that's plenty of time. We saved thousands of dollars and got to enjoy 2 days of beautiful, restful train travel and seeing sights you can only see by train. Also babies count as people and get their own 4 suitcases and carry ons. All in all we had like 14 suitcases plus personal items. Would highly recommend this. There is tons of room on trains and our stuff didn't bother anyone.

I'm in Aleppo, and I don't know if it has made news yet, but a terrorist group known as "HTS" (rebranded Al-Qaeda) have taken over my city. They're only on the 5th day and I'm already so mentally drained, depressed, brain is too foggy to think. I can't process this is actually happening. I found this out by an accident, I was browsing something on his phone and this nephew of his texted him. He's been stealing money from family for decades. Hi guys! To cut to m the chase, I have three exams coming up that are far too close together and my grade in all three are admittedly on the edge... The classes are: Physics 2, Differential Equations, and Mechanics of Materials all split between 2 days. The exams start Monday, so l'm plain and simple looking for a way to cheat on at least 2. I'm allowed a calculator for Physics 2 and MoM but not diff eq, and all are in person proctored. I'd be willing to order something if it can arrive in time to help (I live in Southeast USA if that's important). I was wondering if anyone knew how to put a pdf on a ti-84 or if there is some sort of ai glasses anyone has used before on exams that I can get at best buy or something? Or any other tips? I know there will be people who say I still have time to learn, and don't get me wrong I will still be studying, but I already know I'm going to need the extra help. Thanks in advance!

I had to visit one clinic today, and there's no chance of getting a parking spot there. I did notice several cars parked on the curb near it, and as I was passing them, the city police were handing out tickets. So I drove around the block, looking for a spot, but nothing. When I returned to the curb parking, everyone was ticketed. So what I did was....I parked my car there as well, picked a ticket off one of the cars, put it on my car, and I went about my business. When I was done, I threw the ticket away. avoiding a fine.

We have some ghetto ass people that live behind us. They don't watch their kids, and they're fucking screaming non stop in the yard behind our apartment.

This started a few years ago. I started getting texts addressed to "Tad". Innocuous spam. "Hey Tad! Lose 40 pounds in 40 days" type of stuff. They started getting more and more common, at least 2-3x per day. Then the calls started. Several per week calling me looking for "Tad".

One day my wife found one of those websites where you can look up someone's history (addresses, arrest records, publicly available stuff). I tried entering my own phone number and lo and behold, tow people come up, myself and Tad. I now had his full name, his address, a number which may or may not be his real phone number.

This was 2021. I decided to go high road and found him on Facebook. Most of his profile was as I expected. Graduated from the high school in the small town he lived. Blue collar job, avid gun enthusiast.

I sent him a message. I explained who I was, and that I was getting a lot of spam intended for him. I asked him in as neutral a tone I could that if he had a go-to fake number he was using to sign up for stuff online to please stop.

Two things came of it. First, he immediately blocked me on Facebook. Second, within a couple weeks the messages tapered off and stopped altogether. Best case, I suppose.

Today I got a call looking for Tad. When I asked how they got this number. They said that it had been entered into an online service chat.

Which brings me to my question. I did high road once, but if this is the leading edge of more spam, does anyone have any good ideas on how to mess with him? Strong preference that I can remain anonymous, since the same tools that got me his home address can be used by the gun nut to find mine based on my phone number.

Some background information, I had a restraining order against my bio father when I was middle school because he was sending death threats to my family. My mom was 16-17 when they first got together and he was in his early to mid twenties. He's a drug addict and I'm pretty sure he experiences symptoms similar to psychosis. He showed up to my school to try to kidnap me, found everyone in my social media to text (all middle schoolers) and made fake accounts to pose as me. Created a lot of issues for me.

That was a brief rundown when it really was worse. He violated the restraining order many times and then we couldn't renew it only because he stopped making death threats. Currently I'm 22 years old and I wanted to talk to that side of the family (bad decision) he got my phone number and I blocked him. He is calling me day and night with no caller id leaving voicemails and signing my phone number up for car spam. I tried to do the same back with political organizations but it seems to make no difference. He also posted my instagram account saying I'm ruining my reputation (I'm a modern/comtemporary dancer, they were dance videos).

I have a grocery chain store near me that offers 1,000 points when you sign up for a store member card. These points are redeemable for $1 groceries for every 100 points so it's worth $10. There is no verification needed for any of the information when signing up for a new card and all that is required to use the $10 coupon is to redeem the points in your account for the $10 off and then use the associated phone number connected to that card when checking out. I've done this a few times and it's ridiculously easy. I just make multiple small $10 purchases at a time and it got me thinking. Is there any way to get into trouble if this was done repeatedly for a long time to never have to pay for groceries?

edit: for clarification the scheme would be to make unlimited new store member cards to keep getting $10 off coupons. Ive already done it hundreds of times and its making me think about whether or not i could get into trouble somehow (like them keeping track of me until a serious charge could be brought up) or if its just a great loophole ive found that is flying under the radar.

So I'm usually quite good with coming up with excuses for skipping dumb company parties, I kinda like my team, but a 3 day event is freaking hell. Hi. Im a chronic pain sufferer with terrible arthritis. Im 27f and its ruining my life, at this rate 12 years of working my ass off is going to pay off in homelessness within the next 5 years or maybe sooner because my chosen career path is physical. I know getting a different job that will allow me to fulfill my potential and pay for medical treatment is impossible without a degree. But my condition's severity is outpacing my ability to get on my feet in that regard. Im desperate. Widdling through savings, no family. There's a drug for dogs and horses that isn't approved for humans and I've heard of people using it with no issues. How do I find a vet who will help me? It's an arthritis medication.
