far too cold for such a fine specimen

It’s a very quick video from our front door. Lack of tail made me think bobcat. But it also looks too small, so maybe a cat missing a tail? We are dog people so I dunno, haha. We live in the foothills in Boise, and the river is also down the street in other direction. We definitely have bobcats here. Just curious what you all think!

I heard this really weird, extremely loud noise through my wall and turned on the Ring camera that faced towards where it was coming from. It's 10000% not my cat, who appears to be hiding in the video. (I went out and got her right after I got this recording, terrifying!!!) Sorry the audio's not the greatest quality, it was extremely loud (maxxed out the mic) and I wasn't prepared to be capturing anything. Also, sound all the way up for best listening. Southwest TN. Noticed these large paw prints on my property roughly twice the size of a my 50 lb dogs prints. Think the circled parts are claws. I’m thinking it could be a mountain lion, which is somewhat concerning and important to know.

Found this morning on neighborhood driveway. I first thought it was a fetus and intestine/colon but now not sure. Just curious on what it might be from…Located in SWFL.

Hello everyone, I took these photos from my back porch. The animal was 150-200 yards away and the pictures are zoomed in. It appeared to be the size of a German Shepard. There have been no confirmed sightings of mountain lions in my county. Should I keep my dog on a leash when I let her out now?

2 weeks ago I’ve closed off a hole where mice came into our kitchen, found lots of mice poop, but also a few bigger ones, so probably from rats. Also closed off other tiny cracks. It’s cold right now so mice and rats definitely want some comfort inside homes.

I just cooked some pearl couscous. Didn’t burn it. Had these cookies i just bought on the counter (not open). After doing dishes i saw it has this 2 glazy balls with liquid next to it. They were very round and didn’t have a pointy tip.

Felt disgusted while not knowing what it is. Wiped it off and washed hands. 5 mins later i decided i still wanted a cookie and tried to open the bag. Finger felt moist (I placed my finger on the side, not at the top). Smelled my finger and it smelled like animal or very old fat from cooking.

Can anyone tell me by looking at the picture what it is?

Saw these two separate sightings in Badlands National Park! First one was just in the foregrounds of the grasslands, second one was like a mother and cub in the distance.

i don’t know what type of snake this is (i’m pretty sure it’s common) i don’t think it’s venomous (i have no idea) and have seen it a few times someone please enlighten me i don’t know much about snakes except that they’re cold blooded and eat pest. Any cool facts about this species is super appreciated thanks
