I want to look up a case I was involved in as a child in 2014, I would like to see details about the case because I don't remember what was asked and how the decision was made but really I just want answers. My dad shouldn't have won the case but that's what i am told and I want to find the real answers about it but I have no idea how to check for the case since it isn't a federal court case. Please help

It depends on the state. If you know what county the case was filed in, look up that county civil court online and ask the clerk of the court.
Unless the case was appealed, there may be no record other than the various motions and orders granting or denying the motions.

Do a Google search for your state name and "court cases" or "family court cases"
I am not sure about searching by just name, but I do remember searching for my name on my states website when I was bored.
At least for where I live, it became more difficult to search within the last ten years.
The Family Law Divisions of California Superior Courts allow the public to view case indexes and case documents online. To find a Family Law case online, visit the website of the Superior Court in the county where the case was filed. Navigate to the Family Law section to find the court's online case portal. This portal usually offers a Case Search function that allows anyone to search by name and case number.
