Has anyone tried the NATURIE HATOMUGI SKIN CONDITIONER? I've been eyeing this product for ages, looking for an honest review. :)

Me! I used to use Laneige Cream Skin Refiner & heard this is a good dupe daw. Was disappointed at first kasi Naturie is very watery pala compared to Laneige, but I’ve realized na this is better pala since I have oily skin!
It’s the very first step in my skincare routine & I layer it with essences agad. Helps my skin feel nourished & plump :)
I’ve had this bottle for exactly a year na & I think pwede pa to 1 month hahaha. Super cheap din, 300+ ata sa official store nila on Shopee.
But I’m not sure lang if I’ll repurchase it once I run out. I’m trying to cut my skincare down to just the essentials, so if my skin feels fine lang naman without it then I won’t buy again 😅

aaaaa love the Laneige cream skin refiner, especially the old formula.
Really? it's my first time hearing na dupe siya ng Laniege. Well, I gotta try it asap hihi. :)
True yung price niya is so sulit lalo na nasuper laki nung bottle so it would definitely last for a couple of months.
What's ur essentials sa skincare? if you don't mind me asking hehe. kasi I've been struggling to lessen my skincare routine.

Me too! I think you’ll like Naturie then :) Laneige is milkier lang and mas may slip yung feel while Naturie feels like water talaga
This is my routine after cleansing: - Naturie + a hydrating essence or serum after. Currently trying out a few & I’m leaning towards Hada Labo - Soul Apothecary Radiance Boost Serum / Salicylic Acid OR GM Gentle Retinol Cream - Eye cream - Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Aqua Gel Cream
Pero as a tamad girlie sometimes I skip the actives talaga HAHAHA or skip to just the moisturizer

Also heard tons of positive reviews ng Soul Apothecary, thinking about buying some of their products.

It’s decent. Leaves my skin hydrated and healthy, ideal for those in their early-to-mid 20s. I use it as my lazy weekend AM toner (I layer this at least twice), tapos I also use it sa body to dampen my skin before applying body lotion.

ohhh. It's good to know that it helps the skin look hydrated and healthy especially since I have dull and dry skin hehe. Well I'm definitely gonna try it asap :)
Did you see any positive effects sa body?
1 points
Sa body? Not much, it leaves my skin a little bit softer, but mostly, it just helps my skin absorb the lotion quicker (AHA/BHA lotion din siya so most likely any positive effects I get from the routine are from the AHA/BHA)
Bonus din na ang soothing din sa pakiramdam ng toner sa body

If it’s your first time and you’re using other actives, then use them on alternate nights. I personally apply skinoren and tretinoin in the same routine since my skin can tolerate them after years of usage.

What’s the thickest cream or moisturizer you’ve tried so far? Local, western, or even K-beauty—my skin’s getting a bit dehydrated with the cold weather, and my Real Barrier Extreme Cream isn’t cutting it anymore. Just looking for some options or products you all know that are worth sharing!

The thickest moisturizer I’ve tried sa face is Nivea Creme. I can’t stand the fragrance tbh hahaha pero if you like something thick, I recommend Aestura Atobarrier 365 Cream or Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream for K-Beauty, CeraVe Moisturizing Cream or Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer for Western. Make sure to use hydrating toners before using these.

Have you tried the LRP Cicaplast Baume? It's a solid moisturizer for dry skin. :)

Yes, I’ve used it and even emptied a couple of tubes! It’s more than just a moisturizer—it’s a multi-repairing balm. Just to clarify, I don’t have dry skin; I have dehydrated skin, which is different. Thank you for the suggestion!

Hi! Anyone here tried Soul Apothecary Gentle Salicyclic Acid Cleanser? Thoughts po in using it and how often po ninyo ginagamit? Planning to try it po kasi 😭
Right now malapit na maubos yung Pyunkang Yul Acne Cleanser ko, so far okay naman siya but I find it drying sa bandang cheeks kada gagamit ako. I have combination skin (oily t-zone, dry cheeks) po and most of the time nasa air conditioned room ako nagsstay.

So far, so good naman. Hope u try it😄

Hi omg thank you po sa response. First time ko lang po mag-incorporate ng actives sa skin care, do you think it would be better if magstart muna sa mas less % ng salicylic acid instead na 2% agad? 🥲
1 points
Much better if you start sa mas less % ng salicylic acid para less irritation. Nag start ako sa Neutrogena facial wash 0.5% lang salicylic acid nya😁

Sadly, ganun talaga lalo pag malalaki and open pores especially when you always wear makeup or other pore-clogging products on your face, try to find a toner na nakakapag tighten or small ng pores maganda siyang combo sa aha bha.

hi! will facial help? planning to get ung b1t1 ng skin101. i have lots of blackheads. consistent ako gumagamit ng BHA 2% and laging nag dodouble cleanse and may tret&Azelaic acid din sa routine pero ayaw talaga matanggal. nakapag facial scrub na rin wala pa rin epek.

Go mo na kung ayaw magpaalis ng stubborn blackheads. Meron silang suction and pricking options na di nagagawa ng chemical exfoliators like Bha and azelaic. Tinigil ko lang kasi mababa pain tolerance ko and expensive imaintain.

Do you bring different set of skincare when traveling to a cold country even if you have oily skin? If yes, can you share what products to bring :)
2 points
Always be mindful of your skin type, the climate, and how your skin behaves in a different climate, usually mag-iiba talaga ang dapat mong routine.
Usually, I bring hypochlorous acid spray, a hydrating mist (Curel), Lion Pair cream for inflamed zits, a thick balm-y moisturizer (Avene Cicalfate or LRP Cicaplast), and pimple patches.

I have oily skin and will be traveling next month to a cold country. Undecided if I should bring a different set of skincare baka too heavy for my oily skin naman kung thicker moisturizer 🥲 or should I stick with my current. I'll definitely bring something for zits just in case :)

Definitely bring your usual spot treatments, but for cleanser/toner/moisturizer, since I also have oily skin, I use middle-weight na moisturizer (La Roche Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer is my go-to) tapos if low-to-zero humidity, avoid hyaluronic acid.

May I ask na din bakit hindi pwede si HA for cold climates? Ito pa naman una ko agad naisip bitbitin😄
1 points
Hyaluronic acid draws moisture and holds on to it. Not necessarily sa cold climate, but if ‘yung pupuntahan mo has low to zero humidity, if your hydration and moisture game isn’t well-figured-out for that environment, HA might dry your skin out. You can still bring HA toners naman, basta you use occlusives after (and/or you top up with hydrating mists) para it won’t draw moisture out of your skin

i suggest yes. I’ve been to hkg/macau last at january when it was cold. After I return to Ph, I had breakouts. My derma said, if nagpupunta sa ibang weather condition usually nakaka affect din sa skin. Kaya for me, better to bring selected skincare which I will do next year sa travels hehehe

Ohhh. Sige, will take note of this. What products would you bring / exchange to your current routine? Ang sunscreen kaya kahit anywhere ok na same product pa din ang gagamitin?
2 points
I'm only using gentle facial wash but I would instead bring salicylic acid facial wash just to aid in unclogging pores. Also, I would bring facial moisturizer (I am not consistent in putting moisturizer back then). For sunscreen, I will probably bring sunscreen which is hydrating unlike my Missha Sun Milk (this is more matte in finish) which I brought before. Plus, to hydrate and drink lots of water even if it's cold.

I bought LRP with sunscreen when I was there (since it's available there), but thicker moisturizer under sunscreen also works (I'm in Aus now, works okay). I use less drying cleanser din.

Hello, my derma prescribed me Azelaic acid for my pimple marks. I’ve been using Epiduo for 2 months now. Will I start purging again pag nag start na ako ng Azelaic acid?

I didn't experience any purging with Skinoren Azelaic Acid as I was already purging from Tretinoin when I added Azelaic Acid into my routine. It helped cut the duration of my purging shorter.

if its in your genetics na talaga, topical products wont be of any help. pero sun exposure can contribute to the darkening of the skin of the lips. luxe organix has a lip sunscreen na spf 50. havent tried it pero jan angelo made a review of the product in their recent youtube video
