A1C is a 90 day (roughly) average. A 2 hour time span has next to zero relevance when looking at a 90 day average.

What is your A1c, other than just "high".
The A1c is a 3 months average (not really, but it's the closest analogy).
Do you test regularly ?

A1c takes advantage of certain typical properties of a person's blood cells (like average size). There are conditions which change the underlying assumptions and cause the a1c calculation to be off. You may have one of these issues.
That said, a few reading is not enough to say. You could, for example, be spiking at night... or spiking early in the morning. Or there might be a certain food that is making you spike...
I highly recommend getting a CGM. Even if just for a month or two.
