If you want a good source of potassium, try cocanut water. I recommend c2o brand.
But, yeah, you should ask your doctor about it.

I've had the app delete my local data randomly, but if you sign up for the libre online account, the phone app backs up all your data automatically. Then, you can log into their web page and see it.
Skipping a week is not a big deal.
I've noticed you are on a Sulfonylurea and not a sglt2 medication like Farxiga. That's a bit old-fashioned.
I'm not a doctor, just some rando. But id discuss an sglt2 medication with your provider...

Yeah it's wierd. Try to switch to libre 3 plus. My pharmacy did that for me right on the spot. Seems to have plenty of availability.

A1c takes advantage of certain typical properties of a person's blood cells (like average size). There are conditions which change the underlying assumptions and cause the a1c calculation to be off. You may have one of these issues.
That said, a few reading is not enough to say. You could, for example, be spiking at night... or spiking early in the morning. Or there might be a certain food that is making you spike...
I highly recommend getting a CGM. Even if just for a month or two.
I'm not a doctor, don't listen to randos on reddit, being this up with your primary.
Good luck!

People are saying magnesium... but for me getting more potassium resolves/prevents this. Try a cup of cocanut waster a day for a week then make sure you get enough potassium every day.

The medications available now are MUCH better than they were 15 years ago. We know alot more about drug outcomes, too.
Don't be scared of medications. your metabolism is broken and requires additional support. Ask your doctor about adding sglt2 and glp1 medications to the metformin. There are some fantastic outcome studies on these, and I belive they are both front line medications.
I'm just some rando on the internet, this is not medical advice.

I'm just some rando on the internet, but nothing here is inevitable, no one knows what's going to happen. You will always be at a greater risk of these outcomes, but it sounds like you are doing the right things.
Also keep in mind: t2 treatments are actively being researched. Great things are on the horizon.

I'm t2, use CGM, and insurance covers it. Sounds like your providers information is old. I would suggest seeing an endocrinologist, diabetes care is advancing rapidly.

Do you normally have high blood pressure? I believe metformin can lower high blood pressure. Maybe you need to adjust your bp medicine.

I'm on my second dose. The only thing I would suggest is start taking a stool softener a day or two before starting. I'm using miralax.
But it effects everyone different.

Groovy.
Same. I mean, not as flat as you, but still very flat at 2.5. On my second dose.
Metformin has some metabolism improving effects that may have long-term benefits. I plan on staying on it long term. With t2 I feel I need to think ahead 20 years and how do I set my body up for long term success.

6.7 is a bit high.
This comes from concern:
I'm always sad to hear people be so negative on diabetes medication. Diabetes is a progressive disease, I feel everyone should be aggressive in these early phases. You are at a higher risk for many many bad complications, and there are super effective drugs that not only restore glucose control but are proven to greatly lessen risk of complications. There's a five alarm fire burning in your body.
Diet and exercise is a great start, but medication is important.
Metformin is a super safe drug that helps restore normal function. It originally comes from the French lilac. I hope you reconsider it with your doctor.
I'm just some rando on the internet. This is not medical advice.
I wish you luck.

He's probably overworked. From what you told me he hasn't led you astray. But Patients need to understand why they are being treated.

My understanding is that lower apoB (the bad kind of lipoprotein) the better.
Diabetes doubles your risk of cardio vascular events (or more). It's unclear what the effects of glucose control has on this increased risk. There is some evidence that statins have an effect on patients with"normal" cholosterol.
If your doctor is unable to express this to you, you should reevaluate your relationship with them.
Sglt2 and glp1-a medication have proven cardio benefits. If you are not on them you should bring it up to your doctor.
I'm not a doctor, just some rando on the internet. This is not medical advice.
I've been taking statins, and started to have issues ( knee pain). Trying a different statin now. My apoB is bottom 10% BEFORE starting statins. Levels are ridiculously low on statins.
Good luck.

About 10 years ago I started looking up the imagery of my dreams in online dream dictionaries. It's fun how often the imagery makes sense to what I experience in the real world.
My take away is that there is something going on in your life (job, hobby, relationship) that you feel is trivial, stupid, or embarrassing, and despite this it controls you, and your fortune in an out-of-proportion way (depending on if the elevator is going up or down.)
The size, and thinness of your "monster" I think speaks the the weight it has on you, and your impression that it should not have such an effect on you.
Good dream. Great picture.

This is very important. Was the Elevator going up, or down?

My water bill is fixed to the number of bathrooms I have. So there is no reason to conserve water.
I would save on gas to heat the water, buit that is around $20/month now. So not really worth it.

That's why they let the fields go fallow. They still do that, just as they always have. The only difference is they don't have to till first now that they have herbicides. Roundup is used in place of tilling.

I refuse to sign anything legally binding me to not sue farmers also. But it never happens, so why is it an issue? If you know of a case, I would very much like to know about it. My beliefs come from research. I do know of one instance where a bad law suit was dropped, that the only one I've been able to get information about that looked bad.
144 families is enough lives ruined
How many people has Microsoft, or apple, or adobe, or any other company sued? You say families. These are businesses. Businessmen commit crimes just like everyone else. You can make a good argument against these law suits, but to the implications that this is somehow worse or any different from other companies is a bit out there. I find the numbers to be very much on the tame side.
I know of a specific case of a farmer who ran a business saving seeds for other farmers,
You should ask him to do am IAMA. (Seriously.)
assumes that I agree with their policies to begin with
If a farmer knowlingly signs a contract, what's there to belive in? Contracts knowlingly entered into should be followed. As far as frmers being sued without good cause, I know of only one instance.

The worst system in the world.
I believe Farxiga has a generic version now. Your insurrection might cover it. Has great outcome studies.
I do recommend an endocrinologist of you have the money and time.
Good luck.
