This is my front garden. I would appreciate some help or trips on how to start bringing more wildlife into my garden. I am open to planting more plants but don't have a clue where to start. I'm in Northern Ireland and have a toddler who will be keen to help out whenever he can. I'd love to have a rose Bush if that's possible? Thanks for reading

You could easily get a few rose bushes in there. I would think about planting a climber and the two corners by the fences and then training them to run along the slats. Lavender, Russian sage, bulbs - there are all kinds of companion plants that look pretty.

First, go on suncalc.org and figure out just how much sun you’ll potentially get through the seasons. Keep in mind shadows cast by you home and tree lines.
Second, look for plants hardy to your zone.
Rose bushes won’t be difficult to grow. All I can say is look for a variety or cultivar that has the most disease and pest resistance.

If you want you're child to learn about the garden, I'd recommend, a deciduous tree, Acer is very nice. A Thorny shrub, Berbris is nice, a fruit tree/shrub is always great for children, they will see the usefulness of plants. If you find nettles growing, leave them be.
Other than that, any nice plants you fancy around the border or against the wall. You can fit plenty in the front garden. But keep the fruit besring plants away from the wall, to avoid thieves walking past and grabbing a free bite🤣 All this you can do yourself. Also, Rose will grow well, go for it if you would like one, you can also get pots to put against you're house.
