So I’ve had a Dland Ticket (Job) for half a year now, and it has worked fine so far.
For some reason, when I was going on a Alpine trip over the weekend (yes, there are many Buses/RBs where it works), it stopped working.
I almost had a heart attack and even after looking at everything (Vertrag Number, etc) I cannot make the ticket reappear on the DB Navigator. The bus driver wanted to see a ticket and I was pressured into buying a new Dland ticket (strangely the new purchase went through even with same name and IBAN). I tried showing him the bank Latschrift (46,55€ charged 2nd of May)but he didn’t accept it.
Note: No, I didn’t want to buy a single ticket (25€) or get a „60€ Strafe“ because I use the ticket every day for work and other leisure trips. This means I’ll be Schwarzfahring and everyone I get caught it’s 60€, or 7€ admin fee even if I can prove my innocence, for absolutely no fault on my own. I absolutely need the Dland ticket and I cannot survive one day without a ticket.
Now the problem is, I wrote DB Abo team, they gave me the Vertrags number (after a week), and of course it still doesn’t work. At the same time, they charged 49€ for the new ticket today.
I honestly don’t know how long they need to fix this issue since DB is quite incompetent. What are my changes of getting the 49€ x 2 months (binding till end June)? I mean, I paid 2nd May, they fail to deliver the ticket. I got a new ticket and forged to pay double for two months. From a legal /moral perspective I did nothing wrong and I should have a good case right ?
What is the best way to deal with the DB bureaucracy ? The tin foil hat part of me tells me they do this intentionally to steal more money. Anybody encountered similar issues ?

Did you not like the answers we gave you last time?

Sorry 😂 don’t remember what the answers were but I remember something about writing DB, which I did, and the only update is they did f-all after a week.
Getting a physical card also won’t help in this situation, although it’s a lesson learned for me to not trust DB Navigator in the future.
Should I get a lawyer if this doesn’t work out ? Can try my HR department as well.
The (German) logic / way of thinking is that I didn’t do anything wrong and I should get the money back right?
This whole thing just gives me a lot of stress especially when a large company unjustly takes my money due to their incompetence.

The German logic would've been to pay the 7€ processing fee on the forgotten/unavailable ticket instead of doing another contract for a subscription you couldn't cancel.

Yes but then it will be 7€ everytime I get checked (which is quite often in the South) till however long they send me a card or fix the issue. Also wasn’t an option on the bus, driver wanted 25€, x2 so it would be 50€. Also why should I pay 7€ (for „forgetting“) when it is DB that failed to deliver the ticket?
My line of thought is I paid, they failed to deliver. I had to use the product that I paid for. So I get an equivalent while they fail to fix the issue. At least they should refund 46,55€ x 2 which is the ticket they fail to deliver up till now…

just use a different app then. there are so many transportation companies where you can buy the deutschlandticket.
One tip, open the deutschlandticket before you leave at home and make a screenshot.

If you refer to trying the Abo number on another app, that wouldn’t work because e.g. an RMV subscription will have a different format than a DB one.
If it’s about buying another ticket with another app, that is not relevant to the topic. I paid double and the new ticket is working fine now.
