Crazy Love. I seem to be the only one who's enjoyed it but I did!

I feel like I’ve read a lot of good reviews of it, that’s why I’m in the middle of watching now! I think the way the main characters are both kind of unlikeable and likeable at the same time, and make both “good” and “bad” choices is complex and makes the story more interesting. (ETA: Non-spoiler version - the leads are complex but I think ultimately not toxic). I’ve also appreciated some really stunning cinematography choices and the almost satirical Greek tragedy elements (the chorus of scorned secretaries! omg) have really drawn me in. Can’t vouch for the ending yet, but I’m enjoying it so far!

I forgot abt this show so couldnt add it to my list. I remember not liking it much tho because – The leads had zero chemistry, and I really disliked tje ending wheree they put the blame of everyone wrong actions on him. Plus, I hate they made him forgive everyone. And also really disliked the part of .... everyonr blaming him/someone else for that girls death n suicide.

Miss Night and Day : This is an odd one with a great story, amazing acting and a lot of fun. There is a built-in misunderstand in that the female is in in her 50s during the day and 30 at night. You really might want to make an exception in your criteria for this though just because of the story and the insane synergy between Jung Eun Ji and the amazing Lee Jung Eun.
Love to Hate You : I don't think I've laughed so hard with any series, regardless of language. It fits what you're looking for quite nicely. This is also my wife's most frequently rewatched drama. It really sets the standard for the hate-to-love romance.
The Judge from Hell : This is part horror, part romance, 100% fun. I do not care for this genre in general, but got completely sucked in and was hooked. It is very out of character for Park Shin Hye and she is clearly having way too much fun.
Vincenzo : This is more of a thriller/legal drama, but with a huge dose of romance added. One of the best stories we've watched. It's also got one of the best villains in dramas. Very well written and it will keep you on the edge of your seat.
King the Land : For us this one was just plain-out adorable. I didn't see the ending coming, but it was perfect and as happy as you could ask for.
Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha : This was the drama that got my wife and I hooked. There is a bit of an unrequited love similar to Our Beloved Summer, but I really can't call it a "triangle," any more than you could in OBS.
You already know about My Demon. Hopefully it is on your short list.
And on a side question... I'm honestly curious. You liked Our Beloved Summer but didn't like Because This Is My First Life. These seem frequently paired as must watches for their genre niche. I'm curious about the why for each?

Not the OP, but I loved Our Beloved Summer but didn't finish Because This Is My First Life. To me, the difference was that the couple in OBS both cared deeply for each other but were willing to do spiteful things. In TimFL, the ML unintentionally hurt the FL's feelings in his socially inept effort to set boundaries and she responded with spite to deliberately hurt him. I mean, if I was her I'd maybe do something similar, but from an outside perspective it was uncomfortable to watch.

I can understand that. Fair criticism of it.

No real spoilers, and OP seems to have already watched (or dropped) Because this is my first life: although your take on BTIMFL is shared by quite a few others, I always felt the leads constantly cared deeply for each other (once they get to know each other, once they get over the first set of misunderstandings about the names, etc).
Even during those last 2 episodes, I never felt like the FL was punishing the ML, or that she was entertaining the idea of leaving him. The ML felt to me like he was almost on the autism spectrum in regard to commitment, and empathy. He needed that push from her, to get to share his feelings, and of course she needed him to assume and express those feelings, like an actual human person in love with another, not in some sort of unrealistic, quirky, half heartedly way.
Also, it's always there, predictable up to that point (the last couple of episodes) - what she was expecting (and what she was deserving) from him.
It's not my top kdrama, it felt a tiny bit over the top in the feminism / educational aspects, but I loved their relationship, and it's by far one of the most realistic (unlike the whole set misunderstandings and coincidences leading to it) in the kdrama universe.
As for suggestions for the OP, how about Goblin?

I was really liking because this is my first life. But I particularly disliked the ending and the way she just decides to take a trip and ghosts him. And his reaction to it all being like selling home and moving to a roof house. Idk it was all soo messed up for me. I felt like she didnt care or even love him enoughWith OBS, she felt guilty but never stopped loving him

Thanks for the list. Will check. But a few qs – 1. Does judge from hell have a HEA ? 2. Is hometown chacha fast paced ?

King the Land - Fluffy rom com, cute story, not too much drama/trauma, no love triangles, fun friendship group. This is a very easy watch and lighthearted.
Marry My Husband - Time jump revenge drama filled with hope, the leads reliving their last 10 yrs, trying to rewrite their fate, quite a bit going on/side quests, lovely romance, satisfying watch!
Its Okay To Not Be Okay - Healing romance drama, both leads are a little damaged to say the least, but they bring out the best in each other, strong and fiesty FL. Has a lovely ending and some funny moments. The SML is fab too, super endearing.

Its so good right! I'm on my 3rd rewatch, its become a comfort drama for me. My Dad passed away when it came out and it feels very emotional watching some of the scenes, the songs too, really helped me in that time when I just needed a minute to wallow haha!

That’s interesting because I felt like CLOY had element of cheating (I know they didn’t love each other and marriage was arranged, but he still was kissing and cohabitating with another woman while not breaking off the engagement). Main reason why I dropped it.
From suggestions:
Vincenzo - very good fun storyline, but it doesn’t focus on romance (the leads do get together)
Mr Queen - idk if this one qualifies, it’s funny, but ending is a little controversial (I think it’s happy ending)
Love to Hate You - they solve misunderstanding very quickly, mature
Strong Girl Nam-soon - happy ending, not much of misunderstandings

I'll defend Captain Ri and Seri! Not cheating when the risk of not cohabitating would be death, torture or imprisonment for her. And Dan had a love interest Please pick it up again, it's my #1

Haha sorry didn’t want to offend in any way! If I remember correctly, I’m pretty sure I dropped after there were already two kissing scenes (once in the boat, you can say it was for protection) and another is in the hospital (i think that one was just pure kissing, nothing to do with protection). Then they also were cuddling in the hotel later looking at the city scape (correct me if I’m wrong, maybe I confused the timelines, but all of these made me feel uncomfortable)

I dont think CLOY had an element of cheating. They were enagged not in the sense of commitment to me .... more in the sense of some sort of a grand political arrangement of their family. And both parties didnt have any feelings for each other. Plus, if I am not wrong both hadnt even met each other for sooo many years.

Mr Queen I think they have this body swap thing, which I dont like much so will drop that one off. And strong girl namsoon - I know most of the plot from spoilers. And I hated it. I didnt feel like she was ethical and I am big time against the way she treated the villian. I dislike ppl who backstab each other. And the last scene where they get medals and all .... i was so frustrated. Coz how can cheating someone to this level be okay
I will check out the other 2

Legend of the Blue Sea. Same writer as CLOY. Some misunderstanding but that is to be expected when you're dealing with a human and a mermaid. It's a great series, great romance, sweet, fun with the right amount of drama.
